There wasn't an answer from inside of his room for the longest time. Technically, there wasn't an answer at all. Cynder just unlocked the door quietly, using magic instead of standing up and doing it himself.

He was sitting on his bed, and looking up from his hands and at Cera.

"...?"

Meanwhile, Dark was permanently scared of Cynder.
