Wally West didn't know what to expect when he fell out of the portal that had sucked in him and the other founding members of the Justice League.

Two small children looking up at him in surprise was not it.

They both had brown hair and dark blue eyes, although the girl had hair that was down to her shoulder blades. The two couldn't have been older than eight.

One of them, the boy, walked up to Superman and poked his shin. The kid gasped. "They're real!"

The girl nodded. "Of course they're real."

"Um, hi?" Superman said, although it seemed more like a question. "What are your names?"

The boy puffed up. "I'm Sirius. Like the star."

"I'm Cassiopeia, but I like Cassie better." The girl bounced up and down. "What are you guys's names?"

"I'm Superman, and that's Green Lantern, J'onn, Flash, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, and Batman."

"Those are weird names," the girl said, wrinkling her nose. "Even weirder than Uncle Dipper's."

Sirius grabbed Cassie and dragged her over to a large rock. They held a whispered conversation, that Superman had no doubt that he could listen in to-had Batman not gotten his attention by saying, "We need to find a way to get back."

"Back where?" The two kids had finished talking, and now they were watching the Justice League with wide eyes.

Wally crouched down. "Well, we live far away from here. And we need to get back home.

"Oh!" Cassie's expression cleared. "Uncle Dipper can help with that! He's really smart. Mom says that he's a dork."

Green Lantern crouched down too. "Can you take us to him?"

Sirius nodded. "Yup! Just follow us!"

The two children led the Justice League through the woods, occasionally stopping to make conversation. Cassie in particular had a pressing question.

She skipped over to J'onn. "Why is your skin green? Are you a monster, like in the lake?"

J'onn blinked at her. "No, I am not a monster. I am a Martian."

"Cool!" Sirius gasped. "I wish I was a Martian! Then Mom and Uncle Dipper would let us go into the woods whenever we wanted and we wouldn't have to sneak out!"

"Wait," Hawkgirl said. "Did you just say that you weren't allowed in the woods, but you're still in here anyways?"

Cassie blushed. "Uh huh. Mom and Uncle Dipper say that the woods are dangerous, but they come in here all the time and fight monsters."

"Monsters?" Wally raised an eyebrow, even though they couldn't see it.

"Yeah!" Sirius agreed. "But not all of them are mean. Like the Multibear. He's really nice, even though he looks super scary. Mom once took us to this spooky convenience store, and we met the owners. They didn't really like mom, but they liked us."

"How are convenience store owners monsters?" Superman asked.

Cassie giggled. "They're not monsters, silly! They're ghosts!"

Before any of them could reply to that, the group broke through the trees and saw a house.

It was large, and made of wood. There was a spot on the roof that had a cooler and a lounge chair on it, as well as what looked like an empty bucket.

"Home!" Sirius and Cassie shouted, running up to the door. Green Lantern looked around. "This is where you two live?"

"Uh huh. It used to Grunkle Ford's, and then it was Grunkle Stan's, and then it was Ford's again. Now it's Mom's and Uncle Dipper's." Cassie opened the door.

"Mooom! Uncle Dipperrrr!" Sirius called. "We found some funny people who need help getting home!"

A woman walked in, stretching. She blinked sleepily at the two kids. "Hey, guys."

"Aunt Wendy!" Sirius cheered. He scrambled up her legs and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Where's Mom?"

"What, am I not good enough for you?" She joked. "They're in the back. You woke me up with your shouting."

"Thanks Aunt Wendy!" The kids took off, leaving the Justice League behind. The woman finally noticed them. "Uh, hi? Who are you?"

"I'm Superman," he introduced. "Flash, Hawkgirl, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, J'onn."

"I'm Wendy. Honorary aunt of the Mystery Twins, third generation." She said the last part with a small smile on her face.

"Mystery Twins?" Superman asked.

Wendy shrugged. "The name stuck with Dipper and Mabel, and when we found out about the whole debacle with Stan and Ford it became an actual thing. When Cassie and Sirius were born... Well, twins apparently runs in their family."

Before anything else could be said, Sirius and Cassie dragged two people through the door. Well, more like gently tugged. They were only children, after all, and the people whose arms they were clinging to were clearly adults.

One of them was a woman, with long dark brown hair in a loose ponytail. She had a blue sweater that said Craft on it in shiny green letters. Small red and purple butterflies decorated the edges of the word, and the entire garment appeared to be hand knitted.

The other, who Sirius was clinging to, was a man. He had the same color hair and eyes, and he wore a blue-and-white trucker hat with a pine tree on the front. He had a navy vest and an orange shirt, that both seemed rather worn.

"All right, all right," the woman laughed. "What's so urgent that you had to drag me away from the very important task of making fun of your uncle?"

"Them!" Cassie pointed. "They said that they need help getting home, and they came out of a big swirly thing in the sky."

"Oh, really?" The man said, scooping her up. "And was the big swirly thing in the woods?"

"Maybe," Sirius laughed.

The man sighed. "You know that there's a reason why you're not allowed in there without someone that you trust."

"I trust Cassie," Sirius said stubbornly.

"I mean a grown-up."

"They're grown-ups." Cassie pointed out.

He groaned. "I'm to tired to argue. Go talk to your mother."

She squirmed out of his arms and ran over to the woman. Said woman gave the Justice League a once-over. "Who the heck are you guys?"

After repeating their names for the third time, the man sighed. "Well, I'm Dipper and she's Mabel. I'm just going to assume that you know Wendy's name."

"We do." Superman assured him.

Wally interrupted. "I know that this is off topic, but did Cassie and Sirius say that the met the ghosts of convenience store owners and whatever the heck a Multibear is?"

Mabel laughed. "Yep."

"And that's just normal for you?"

"Welcome to Gravity Falls," Dipper said dryly. "Where there are monsters in the woods and ghosts in the houses."

"And secret interdimensional portals in the basements," Mabel said cheerfully.

"Don't forget the shapeshifters that try to kill you," Wendy added.

"Or the time travellers," Mabel giggled.

"What about dinosaurs, golf ball people, magical copier machines, and fake psychics?" Her brother smiled. "So, all in all, we're just a normal small town."
