The second night of being home alone I was in so much pain I couldn't do much besides sleep, and shower. Just as I heard the bus stop outside at the stop after school Will and Layla were by my window. I groaned and they jumped through and sat by me.
"Why Didn't You Tell Us Liliana!?" They yelled and I grabbed my head quickly feeling it throb.
"Tell you what?" I moaned in pain.
"That you're mated to Warren Peace!!"
"I'm what? What the hell does that mean?" I questioned.
"Wait...you really don't know?" Layla asked and I shook my head.
"Then we shouldn't be the ones to explain it, it should have been your dad but since he didn't Warren should. It's why you're in so much pain, you're allowed in school tomorrow to talk to him in the office, principal powers is pissed that no one told her. She wouldn't have separated you if she knew." Will explained and I sighed.
"I have no clue what you're talking about." They looked shocked that I honestly didn't understand.
"I have something that might help." Layla said pulling a jacket out of her bag. She handed it to me and it wasn't until I held it and could smell it that my headache subsided slightly and I sighed in relief.
"What is this?"
"Warren's jacket, he told me to give it to you, it will be explained tomorrow, we'll come get you in the morning." I nodded slightly, feeling my fatigue hitting me as my pain subsided just enough to sleep.
