Author's Pov

Jisoo stares at the multitude of demons and paladins heading to Penelope's and Yessi's location. She knew Lucius was on Penelope because the Eternal Spirit of Grace helped her by granting the powers of the Eternal Spirit of Grace to Penelope while she was purifying Acier Silva. She didn't know how; the power she sensed and saw was incredibly overwhelming, but at the same time, pleasing.

But still, powerful enough to destroy Lucius' throne and shake everything.

Jisoo knew she had to act now.

"Park Jisoo, looks like that irritating human is going after your lovely little sister. I dislike lowlifes who don't know their place going after the future Monarchs." Antares said, looking at Lucius, whose target was on Penelope. He knew Penelope had the potential to be Yogumunt's successor and earn herself a fire dragon as her first summon soldier.

Jisoo summons the Demon King's Dagger, turning the neon blue glow around the dagger to neon purple.

"I suppose it's time we show him how it's done," Jisoo says with a smirk, earning a wild grin from Antares, who was delighted to see how she was going to humble that scumbag.

Jisoo whistles; she looks back and sees a large shadow horse with flaming, neon-purple hair, four glowing eyes, and a pair of horns, running through the air.

"It's been a while, Chariot," Jisoo reveals the name of the Shadow horse.

Chariot, the warhorse of the King of Dead Ashborn and Marshal Grade Shadow.

Chariot neighs as Jisoo jumps onto his back and starts riding to the location of Lucius through the dark sky.

Back with Penelope and Yessi.

Penelope summoned multiple explosions through her enemies while Yessi swung, kicking, punching, and doing flips. Ignatius roars and blasts fire through the battlefield.

Yessi lands on the ground stylishly, before summoning Skullcrusher, wraps the handle with her web, and begins to swing it like a rope dart. She soon lights up with her bio-electricity that glows blue and starts swinging it fast yet stylishly to the crowd of demons.

All of them were cut down by each slash and swing as Yessi was displaying her mastery of martial arts and weaponry.

"Whoa, cool," Penelope utters, astonished by her physical abilities, before Ignatius smashed one of the demons who tried to reach her.

"I gotta thank Shangchi and Lie for teaching me this." Yessi soon grabs the handle of Skullcrusher, turns to Penelope, who was astonished by her way she swung the rope axe; it was stylish and graceful. In her previous timeline as the Duke's Fake Daughter, women didn't have weapons and couldn't be knights due to patriarchy, and women were limited in what they desired.

Luckily, that merchant wasn't limited to women, but still, it was male male-dominant society with aristocracy and imperialism.

One of the reasons why her grandma often complained and called the high society a flock of snobs and scum.

Yessi looks at Penelope as she pulls down her hood and unmasking her face. "If you want, I could ask them to teach you. Those swings were good; combining martial arts with magic spells would improve the magic attacks." Yessi offers, making Penelope blink twice since she has never learn self-defense. Although Duke Eckhart was neglectful of her, he did provide her with a crossbow when she asked.
