It was only three in the afternoon, and the Jeon-Manoban mansion was already more chaotic than usual, considering the five cats and two dogs.

It wasn't just Love waving a toy in her mouth like a lunatic, nor was it just Lego jumping on Leo until he was growling with fury. It was also the faint scent of the perfume Lisa had sprayed on the velvet curtains two hours ago "to make the house smell more romantic" (whatever that meant); it was the pure energy bouncing off the walls like confetti.

The lady of the house was officially back in the swing of things and on a mission, Bogum following her faithfully.

Now she'd moved all that radiance into the kitchen.

She slammed another sage green kitchen cabinet, scaring two cats in the process, taking a new bowl while muttering under her breath, "I should have learned to cook. It's embarrassing at this point. But no, someone said I should focus on being a boss," and that someone had been her father. "Ugh, Bogum, does this look like boss behavior to you?"

She didn't even know how to plate the food properly.

Bogum, as calm as ever, was standing by the counter peeling stickers off takeout containers. "It's very on-brand, Lis. Expensive and practical."

She pursed her lips, considering those adjectives...

He was right.

This was more practical than dirtying the kitchen and trying —and failing miserably— to cook a dish. Jungkook appreciated expensive and practical, too.

He would also appreciate her not ruining her (actually his) beloved kitchen.

"You're so cute and smart, Bogummie," she chirped cheerfully.

Lily, the clingiest cat, meowed at her feet, then jumped onto the counter and headed straight for one of the cups. "Oh my God... Lily! That's kimchi! Get that furry butt out of there!"

Lily turned around, barely perturbed, looked at her with those princess-like blue eyes, and as if she'd just shrugged, took another step forward.

"Aish!" Lisa picked her up and carried her out herself.
