okay so this chapter ended up being super long, more than 20k words, so I decided to split it so you won't feel it heavy and more like something to easily read this weekend.

Jisoo's baby shower was every socialite's wet dream come true. Surrounded by swaying cherry blossoms, despite the fact that it was summer and there was no point in them actually existing, everyone enjoyed a cool breeze in a garden surrounded by white silk-covered pergolas, each adorned with cascading floral arrangements in soft lilacs and whites. Tables were set with gold-rimmed plates and crystal stemware, and centerpieces featured delicate gypsy flowers and purple hydrangeas.

At the center of the venue stood the large revealing sculpture, and the expectant parents, dressed in white, were glowing with happiness, especially the pregnant one, in a beautiful short, off-the-shoulder dress with long sleeves.

After leaving their presents at the entrance, in a table that was incredibly full; Lisa and Jungkook arrived hand in hand, and their entrance caught the attention of more than a few people.

Lisa was wrapped in a white sequined Loud shirt dress, whose fabric flowed like liquid silk over her skin, following her silhouette to her round hips, with long sleeves hanging delicately from her hands. All perfectly paired with strappy Louboutin high heel sandals that made her even more imposing. Her jewelry was subtle but intentional: only her wedding ring, along with the enormous lily-shaped diamond, glistened in the sunlight. And her hair was pulled up, exposing her elegant neck.

Jungkook, perfectly matching her, kept his style casual in an ivory suit and a white shirt with the top buttons undone, from which a white gold chain peeked out. His dark hair was styled in a tousled yet refined style, and despite the relaxed atmosphere, he moved with the serene authority of a man who could own the whole place if he wanted to, but everyone knew he was owned by his wife, and she had her fingers firmly gripped in his.

She actually tugged at him like a large, anxious dog on a leash when she saw Jisoo and Namjoon. She strode forward, her heels clicking on the stone driveway, making him question how the hell she could do this so casually without breaking an ankle.

"My baby!" she practically crooned, completely ignoring Jisoo and dropping to her knees in front of her bump. "Hello, little princess."

"Oh prince," he mocked playfully, crouching down beside her.

She glared at him. "Little girl."

He smirked. "Boy."

Jisoo rolled her eyes and swatted at both of them to get them to let her go. "Okay, stop it. You're acting like this is your baby."
