When the gates opened they saw, to their surprise, Fitz. He said "come in" then walked away. They went upstairs and Keefe followed Fitz and Sophie went to Biana's room. She knocked on the door and Biana said to come in. When she walked in she found Biana at her desk working on something. It looked like a serum. She had alchemy equipment and bottles and all sorts of things. When she saw Sophie she took off her goggles and walked over to her. She still looked perfect as usual. "Hey Sophie!" She said. "Ummmm......what's with the alchemy equipment?" Sophie asked confused. "I'm trying to make an elixir that will calm Fitz down. I don't want him to do anything that could break him later on" Biana said sheepishly. "Why does he need to calm down? What's wrong? Should I go see him?" Sophie said, nearing the door. "No! Do not go into his room! Something bad could happen!" Biana said getting worried for her best friend. "Wait! Keefe went into his room!" Then Biana looked worried. She raced out the door and down the hall. Sophie followed her. Biana whipped open the door and found Fitz holding Keefe in a headlock. Sophie and Biana ran over to them. Biana tackled Fitz and Sophie pried Keefe out of his grasp. "What the heck is going on?!" Sophie yelled. Fitz just stood there angrily and Biana looked nervous. Sophie checked Keefe to see if he was hurt and there was something wrong with his neck. "Maybe we should go" Keefe said, but he sounded weak and raspy. "Here. I'll take you to Elwin" then they found their way to the gates and leapt back to Havenfield.

Sophie took out her imparter and called Elwin. "Elwin. Keefe's hurt. We need you to come to Havenfield" she sounded calm but inside she was freaking out. Why did Fitz hold Keefe in a headlock? Why was Fitz even mad?
She decided to ask him later. He couldn't possibly be mad at her, right? She didn't do anything wrong. Not that she knew of anyway. And if he was mad at her, why would he take it out on Keefe? She was so confused. "Keefe what happened?" She asked, worried. "I walked into his room and he just started yelling at me. Saying 'you knew! How could you do this to me? Were you even thinking?' And then he strangled me and held me in a headlock. He's going totally crazy!" Sophie comforted him and walked him to the couch inside. When Edaline saw them she dropped her cup and ran over saying "what happened to you? Are you okay? Let me call Elwin" then Sophie started talking. "Fitz happened. We already called Elwin. He'll be here in a minute" and right on cue there was a flash of light and Elwin walked in the door. "Okay where's the patient?" He sat down next to Keefe, who was rubbing his neck. "Okay so how did this happen?" Elwin said flashing light around Keefe's neck and torso. "We went to Everglen to tell Fitz and Biana something and when I went into Fitz's room, he started yelling and then he strangled me and held me in a headlock. It was unnaturally tight. Like he was channeling or something" Keefe explained. Elwin looked like he wanted to strangle Fitz himself. Edaline looked worried and mad at the same time. "Why would he do that?" Edaline asked. "I have no idea. He seemed a bit mad that I couldn't be his date to the dance" Sophie said. Then there was a look of realization on her face. "I think he's mad about the engagement. Biana must have told him. I am going to hurt Biana. I swear" she said. Then Elwin looked surprised. "Engagement?" He said raising an eyebrow. Sophie laughed nervously. "Keefe and I are getting married next month. Your invited" she said. Elwin looked dumbfounded. "Okay then. I'd be happy to come" then he turned back to Keefe and started flashing light again. "Okay Keefe. You have broken your collar bone" he said. "I didn't break it" Keefe grumbled, emphasizing the 'I'. "Yes I am aware. Drink this and you'll be good as new" Elwin said. Keefe drank the elixir and grimaced. "What is this stuff?" He said. "You don't want to know. I'm going to go to Everglen to talk to Alden and let him know what happened" Elwin said. Sophie was happy that Fitz would get punished. She wished he didn't do that in the first place. But she was glad he was getting what he deserved. She would deal with Biana later. At least she didn't strangle her. Then her imparter beeped in her pocket. It was Biana. "What Biana" Sophie said irritated. "Look I know that your mad but I just wanted to explain what happened. Is Keefe there?" Biana said. "Yeah he's right here. With Elwin" Sophie spat. "Wow. I really don't know what's gotten into Fitz. Every time he's been mad he's never hurt anyone. Anyways. I told him about you guys getting engaged and he screamed and locked himself in his room the whole day then you came over and then that happened. After you left I made him tell me what happened and he told me that he was going to ask you to the dance. Then he kicked me out of his room. Of course I stayed outside the door. I heard him start crying" Biana explained. "Wow. I had no idea. I'm still really mad at him, though" Sophie said. "Well I didn't do it but I just wanted to say I'm sorry" Biana said. "It's fine. I want to hear an apology from Fitz though" Keefe jumped in. "Well you should come over tomorrow and we can start on a guest list. Just don't go near Fitz. Bye" "bye" then she clicked away. "Okay so do you want to go over there tomorrow?" Sophie asked Keefe. "Why not. We do need to work on a guest list" Keefe said. He was back to normal now with his collar bone in tact. "Okay. I'll check in with you tomorrow before you go over there, Keefe. Hail me as soon as you wake up. I'm off to go talk to Alden. Good to see you all again" Elwin said. Then he glittered away.
