Chapter XIX

I was walking in a hilly area, 'hmm... Shi, is this really the right way?' I asked. 'Yes?', he replied. 'Hee... but why do I have a bad feeling?' I continued. 'Hmm... nothing will happen, my dear', Shi replied. 

'I hope so', I said, trying not to think about my premonition. Not long after, I arrived at a village. I walked around the village, 'there's no one here at all, and the atmosphere of this village is very strange'. '

Shi', I called 

'yes, what's wrong?' He asked. 

'Shi, are you sure you're in this village?' I asked. 

'Yes, my dear', she replied. 

'But this village is empty and there's no one here. I don't see any signs of attacks from humans or demons, and I don't feel the presence of spirits here. It's like they've disappeared', I said. 

Shi didn't answer and asked me to get him out. I agreed and took out my Scatle, 'the air in this village is very strange, just like you said, I don't feel any signs of life or spirit, as if they just disappeared', he said.

Shi told me to go back and look for clues again, 'hmm...?', I kept walking until I felt a bit of an unpleasant atmosphere. 

I quickly ran following that scent. I ran and ran, 'This forest seems endless, like we're going in circles'. 

I stopped running 'Shi... this is just my guess, but it seems like we've entered a different space', I said. 'Hmm... try to break the realm, maybe what you said was true', Shi replied. 

I nodded and made some symbols with my hands while reciting a spell. I closed my eyes after I finished reciting the spell. I opened my eyes again, and I was at the edge of a cliff. 

'Wow... so we're really in a different reality', Shi said. 'Well ye...' my words were cut off when the edge of the cliff broke and I fell into the abyss.

On the other hand, "nee... Bankotsu-aneki, why didn't we invite (Y/n)-chan on our mission? It would have been fun", said Jakotsu. Bankotsu didn't answer. 

"Come to think of it, I wonder what (Y/n)-chan is doing right now?" Jakotsu asked, curious. 

"Hey, Suikotsu, what do you think (Y/n)-chan is doing?" Jakotsu asked, glancing at Suikotsu. 

Suikotsu, with a thoughtful expression, replied "Maybe she's taking a walk..." 

"While eating her favorite dango", Mukotsu continued, then laughing with Suikotsu. 

"Hey, she's a Miko, most likely killing demons out there", said Renkotsu, with Ginkotsu nodding in agreement. 

The four of them were arguing about what (Y/n) was doing right now. Kyokotsu, on the other hand, turned toward Bankotsu. 

"What are you thinking about, Big Bro?" he asked. Bankotsu glanced at him "Nothing", he replied.

Kyokotsu didn't believe his answer, so he approached Bankotsu, leaving the others to continue their debate. "You seem worried", Kyokotsu said, walking beside Bankotsu. 

Bankotsu denied Kyokotsu's statement, "Hmm... that's impossible", he said. "Hmm... (raising one eyebrow) you're thinking about someone, aren't you?" Kyokotsu said with a mischievous tone. 

Bankotsu's face immediately turned red. "Hooo... so my answer was right", teases Kyokotsu, smirking now. 

Bankotsu lowered his head and just kept walking. Kyokotsu chuckled, 'This is the first time I've seen Big Bro like this', he thot to himself and chuckled.
