Chapter XXI

Bankotsu finally fell asleep beside me after crying. Renkotsu then entered the hut, "was everything okay? I hear someone crying," he asked. 

"Uhm... It's nothing, Renkotsu-san, everything was okay", I said calmly. I try to sit up and endure the pain in my body. 

"Alright, if you need something, just tell me, okay?" said Renkotsu. "Okay", I said to Renkotsu. I was finally in a sitting position. 

I wiped Bankotsu's tears and covered him. I sat down and concentrated on healing my body. My small scratches and bruises are slowly disappearing, and the deep cuts are starting to close up gradually.

I paused for a moment so I wouldn't heal too quickly; I almost forgot I was living with humans. Doctor Sui then entered the hut, bringing medicine for me. But when he looked at me, he was surprised and dropped the medicine he was carrying. 

"Ooo... Sui-dono, hello", I said, greeting him. I tilted my head in confusion. "Sui-dono, what happened? Why are you frozen like that?" I asked again. 

"(Y/n)-sama, how are you able to sit like that already?" he asked, stammering. 

"Ooo... I don't know, maybe it's the miracle of the medicine you gave me," I replied with a smile. Mukotsu then entered, "Hee... why did you drop the medicine?" Mukotsu said to Doctor Sui. 

Mukotsu saw Doctor Sui frozen in place, then turned toward me. He then froze as well, "Heee... what's happening to you guys?" I asked, confused. Jakotsu and Renkotsu finally entered, and when they saw me, they also froze.

"Heee...?" I was confused seeing them. I then felt the movement of Bankotsu. I gently stroked his head, and he slowly opened his eyes. 

"(N/n)-chan", he said in a slightly hoarse voice, moving to hug me tightly around my waist. I gently stroked his head. Jakotsu then stepped forward, calling out in a low voice, "aneki". 

Bankotsu then turned toward Jakotsu, and then toward the other. "Heee... olla", said Bankotsu, and Jakotsu angrily replied, "How could you do this to all of us? We want to hug (Y/n)-chan too!!!" he shouted. 

I tilted my head as I heard it, confused. 'What's really going on?' I thot to myself. Seeing Jakotsu shaking Bankotsu. Renkotsu looked disappointed, Sui-dono was petrified, and Mukotsu was muttering indistinctly.

From that incident, I concluded that they all liked me. Doctor Sui approached me and gave me medicine. I accepted it and took the medicine. "Thank you, Sui-dono," I said. Doctor Sui chuckled and patted my head. 

I'm speeding up my recovery process because I still have tasks to complete. What's more, Shi was already yelling at me to do my task as quickly as possible. 

I let go of my bench and put on my clothes. "Ooo... (N/n)-chan, are you feeling better?" Bankotsu asked. I nodded, and then Doctor Sui entered, "(Y/n)-chan, your healing process has been incredibly fast. 

How is it possible that it usually takes people a couple of months to recover, but you only needed a couple of weeks? Are you a human? You sure you're okay?" Doctor Sui asked. 

I smiled and nodded. Doctor Sui and Bankotsu's faces turned red when they saw me smile.

I stepped out of the hut, and then the others turned toward me. Their faces turned red, and they were also frozen in place. I was confused, "What's going on with you guys?" I asked back. 

"Damn, I didn't know you were so beautiful, (Y/n)-chan," muttered Jakotsu, which was agreed upon by the others. 

"This is the first time we've seen your face," said Renkotsu, glancing at Jakotsu now.
