Chapter XVII

POV (Y/n)

'These tentacles are so annoying, they're preventing me from teaching them a lesson. How dare they make me a reason to fight? I still want to beat up Koga and Inuyasha too', I said in frustration. 

This makes my aura even more terrifying. Inuyasha and Koga, who were fighting beside me, were startled by my aura. 'These tentacles are just like the tentacles from that castle, every time you cut them, they multiply, it's so annoying,' I muttered. 

As I was dodging the attacks of those tentacles, Suikotsu came and attacked me. I parried his attacks while avoiding the tentacles.

Suikotsu continued his attack, I parried and dodged his blows. Then, also cut off the tentacles that were attacking me. Without me realizing, Jakotsu also attacked me again from the opposite direction. 

I'm holding off their attack. Inuyasha and Koga saw me struggling; they wanted to help, but the tentacles were blocking their efforts. Kagome also wanted to help, but Renkotsu and Ginkostu fired missiles at her. 

Luckily, Miroku and Sango helped Kagome. "Tsk," I was frustrated, because these tentacles were blocking my attacks, giving Suikotsu and Jakotsu plenty of opportunities to attack me freely. 

"What's wrong with you, (Y/n)-chan? Where did all your abilities go just now?" Suikotsu said mockingly. "Yes, where did all your abilities go, (Y/n)-chan?" Jakotsu added, laughing. 

'Focus (Y/n), they want to make you lose focus,' I said. I took a deep breath and let it out, then attacked Suikotsu and Jakotsu again. This time, my attack was stronger, more accurate, and faster. 

It overwhelmed Suikotsu and Jakotsu, making them struggle to avoid and withstand my attacks.

Without realizing, a chain wrapped around one of my legs. I look at the chain, "Finally..." Bankotsu said with a grin. "HolyShit," I cursed, and then Bankotsu pulled the chain, causing me to fall. 

I tried to stand up, but Bankotsu pulled the chain back hard, dragging me toward him. I tried to resist, but suddenly I felt like my whole body was being electrocuted. 

'This chain seals my power again'. "Urg," I growled in pain.

No POV

Bankotsu pulled (Y/n) toward him and realized something. This chain keeps (Y/n)'s power locked. "Hee... so that's how it is," Bankotsu muttered with a smirk, then pulled the chain hard until she was in front of him. 

Bankotsu then choked and lifted (Y/n). (Y/n) struggled to break free from Bankotsu's chokehold, but the chains wrapped around (Y/n)'s legs prevented her from using her powers. 

"N/n-chan, I didn't want to do it this way, but... we have to go now," Bankotsu said. It wasn't long before (Y/n) lost consciousness. 

Bankotsu released his grip, causing (Y/n)'s body to fall, but he quickly caught her before she hit the ground. Then he climbed onto Ginkotsu, and they fled.  

Seeing them trying to escape, Inuyasha then unleashed his Wind Scar sword technique, destroying the tentacles that were blocking his path. As Inuyasha and the others pursued them, Naraku's Human Puppet once again blocked their path.

"We can see it, Bankotsu-aniki, that's Mount Hakurei," Jakotsu said. "Geez, but... (sighs) what kind of atmosphere is this? It feels so uncomfortable, ugh..." he continued. 

"And yet, we didn't feel it at all earlier," Renkotsu said, with Suikotsu nodding in agreement. "Nee... Aneki, when will (Y/n)-chan wake up?" Jakotsu asked, looking at (Y/n), who was being carried by Bankotsu.

"I don't know, ooo... they've strengthened their defenses, so neither Inuyasha nor Koga can catch up to us," Bankotsu replied. "But this will also make things difficult for us," Jakotsu said. 

They walked deeper and deeper, then Bakotsu felt movement from (Y/n). He then looked at her (Y/n) had an expression of pain, and occasionally grumbled. This confused Bankotsu.

"Bankotsu-aneki, someone is walking toward us," said Jakotsu. Bankotsu then noticed who was coming. Two figures appeared, a girl holding a mirror and Kohaku. 

"Bankotsu..." Kohaku said, "Yoo... Kohaku, who's the albino girl next to you?" Bankotsu greeted. "Kanna..." Kohaku replied, then pointed toward (Y/n). 

"Oh... her... hmm... a friend and the person Naraku is looking for," Bankotsu replied. Kanna nodded, then her mirror shone. 

Jakotsu approached the mirror and saw the figure of someone. "Heee... him!" said Jakotsu. "Do you know him?" asked Bankotsu. "There's no doubt he's the one who killed Mukotsu," Jakotsu continued. 

"He's Inuyasha's older brother, Sesshomaru," said Kohaku. "Hooo... so he's Inuyasha's older brother," said Jakotsu with a curious tone.

"Okay, then?" Bankotsu asked, passing (Y/n) to Suikotsu. "You have to kill him too," Kohaku said. "Hey... we're not done with Inuyasha and Koga yet, you want us to kill him too?!" Bankotsu said, pissed. 

"You can't beat Inuyasha right now; he'll kill you if you fight him," Kanna said. "HUH!! Hey... kid..." Bankotsu growled. "Your sword can't beat Inuyasha's sword," Kanna replied. 

"What do you mean, I haven't had a chance to fight him yet, because (N/n)-chan is in the way," Bankotsu said. Kanna looked at Banryu and stared at him. 

Bankotsu placed Banryu right in front of Kanna, saying, "My Banryu is very..." before Bankotsu's words were finished, a cracking sound was heard from Banryu. Then, leaving behind a large, gaping incision.

"?! How?" Bankotsu exclaimed, surprised to see cracks on Banryu. Kanna touched the crack and said, "He could become strong," then turned to Renkotsu. 

Bankotsu glanced at Renkotsu, "Hee... I get it," he said with a grin. "Yo, Renkotsu, hand it over," he continued. "What do you mean?" asked Renkotsu. 

Bankotsu pointed Banryu at Renkotsu, "I already know you got the jewel shard from the girl named Kagome and hid it from me... or should I cut the shard out of your neck?" he said threateningly. 

"Don't be angry, Oo-aneki, I've been meaning to give it to you," said Renkotsu, handing the jewel shard to Bankotsu. 

"That's a wise decision, Renkotsu, you're smart after all, but remember that there won't be a second chance," said Bankotsu threateningly. "I understand," replied Renkotsu. 

Bankotsu then placed the shard on Banryu; the previous cracks disappeared and Banryu became stronger. 

Bankotsu grinned as he saw the change in Banryu, "Alright Suikotsu, Jakotsu, go and kill Sesshomaru," Bankotsu said. 

"Heee... I don't want to," Jakotsu replied, whining. "I thot you liked handsome men," Bankotsu said with a joking tone. "Yes, but I only want Inuyasha," Jakotsu said. 

"Heee... I understand, but your love isone sided, so forget about it. I'll take care of Inuyasha," Bankotsu said again.

Jakotsu could only obey and was disappointed, so Bankotsu carried (Y/n) back. "I know where Inuyasha's next destination, and... (glancing at (Y/n)) follow me," Kohaku said, showing the way. 

Bankotsu followed Kohaku, carrying (Y/n) with him. Kanna followed from behind. They arrived at a temple, where Kohaku directed Bankotsu to a room. 

Bankotsu followed, "You can put the girl there," Kohaku said, pointing toward a mattress. Bankotsu nodded and placed (Y/n) there. 

Kohaku then showed the way where Bankotsu would meet Inuyasha. Meanwhile, Kanna stood beside the mattress, watching over (Y/n).
