Chapter VIII

(Y/n) woke up from her sleep, "Rasetsu" (Y/n) mumbled. "Waaa... Jaken-sama the water is freezing!" shouted Rin while laughing with Jaken who splashed the water at Rin. (Y/n) stood up and walked out, washing my face. 

'Rasetsu... should I take him?' asked (Y/n) in his mind. 'Yes', a voice answered in her mind, 'alright, Shi' answered (Y/n). 

"Ooo... (Y/n)-sama (waving her hand) good morning", said Rin, running toward (Y/n) and hugging her. (Y/n) pathed Rin's head. "Good morning", answered (Y/n).

Sesshomaru came over, 'Are you leaving?' asked Sesshomaru. (Y/n) nodded 'I have to do something' answered (Y/n). Sesshomaru nodded, (Y/n) smiled, seeing (Y/n) smile, Sesshomaru's face turned red. 

"Rin, I'm going, take care of yourself," said (Y/n), "Oooo...(with a sad expression) are you coming back again?" Rin asked. 

(Y/n) was confused about what to answer and looked at Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru just nodded, (Y/n) looked back at Rin and smiled, "Yes", she answered. Rin smiled and let go of her hug. "Be careful," said Rin, waving his hand. 

(Y/n) walked away from them, following Rasetsu's whereabouts. (Y/n) passed several villages following Rasetsu's whereabouts, 'I hope I don't have to kill that person, just take him', said (Y/n) in her mind. 

Occasionally, she stops in several of these villages to help them eradicate the demons that plague their villages. (Y/n) was in a foggy lake, and then an arrow landed right in front of her. 'This arrow...' said (Y/n) while taking the arrow, "Kikyo-nee-chan", (Y/n) muttered.

POV Kikyo

I was walking after defeating the demon that was bothering the residents in the village, and suddenly, an old soldier blocked me. I stopped walking and looked at the soldier. 

"Give me the money you received, I'm sure you get paid a lot after defeating the demon," said the soldier while pointing a knife at me. "I don't have it", I answered, "lie...! I'm sure they gave you a lot of money," said the soldier, not believing my words. 

"I'm not lying. If you want, you can check me," I answered, spreading my arms to show that I allowed the soldier to check me. 

Then the soldier lowered his weapon and leaned against a tree. "You don't have it," said the soldier while coughing. 'He has a very serious illness, he won't live much longer', I said in my mind while looking at him.

"What are you looking at? Go away," said the soldier. "Hmm... Shikon Jewel shards," I said. The soldier was surprised, "Hmm... those shards are what kept you alive, is that true?" I asked him. 

"I am 70 years old; if other normal men only survive until they are 50 years old, I live too long," said the soldier. "But I can't die now," continued the soldier. 

"What do you do with the fragments?" I asked. The soldier coughed, "I still have to find a peaceful place to rest..." said the soldier before he finished his word, he coughed and finally fainted. I approached the man and took him to a safe place.

No POV

(Y/n) walked following Kikyo's aura, stopping at a tree. "Rasetsu together with Kikyo-nee", muttered (Y/n), walking following their aura. It was getting dark, and not long after, (Y/n) found an old temple. She walked in, but when she wanted to open the door. 

"You haven't finished your story yet," said a girl's voice inside. 'Kikyo-nee?!' said (Y/n), stop not opening the door. Instead, she leaned near the entrance and listened to their conversation. "I'm looking to find the right place to rest," said a man. 'Rasetsu' said (Y/n) in her mind.
