Teri's POV

'Woah.' I thought to myself.

I was laying in bed, the night that I had agreed to audition for a TV show alongside Sherri.

'A professional show?!' I thought. 'There's no way I'm getting this part. But...playing a lesbian opposite Sherri...? Now that would be fun.'

I smiled to myself.

'Wait do I like her?! No, no no.' I quickly dismissed. 'It would just be fun to work with her...and talk to her...and kiss her...and probably eventually have sex with her on screen.....'

'Ok.' I interrupted my thoughts with another one. 'I have to be gay if I'm thinking this way....well no I don't! Sherri's just a friend. She's just a friend.'

Then there was a knock on the door, interrupting my thoughts.

It was so late, why would anyone be coming to my door?

"Sherri?" I asked confused when I opened my door to see Sherri standing there. I had given her my address the other day when she insisted on bringing me lunch sometime to make our favors equal.

"Hi." She half smiled.

"What's wrong? Are you ok?"

"N...not really." She muttered.

"Come in come in it's dark and cold outside." I offered.

"Thanks..."

"What's goin on?" I asked, sitting on my couch and gesturing for her to sit too.

"I'm sorry it's so late...I didn't know where else to go." She apologized.

"No no don't worry about it! I'm here for you day or night. What's wrong Sherri?"

"It's Kamar...I just...I hate him." She said suddenly.

"What?!" I asked.

"Well, I don't hate him. But...I don't like him."

"Why what happened?"

"No one thing happened." Sherri started. "I just don't feel what I used to. Every little thing he does annoys me."

"It could be just a phase." I brought up.

"I know. And that's why I came to you." She said. "I didn't want to go off the handle and say something to him that I didn't mean, and then not be able to take it back."

"That was a good idea." I said, genuinely.

I pulled Sherri in for a hug.
I rubbed her back as her crying eyes rested on my shoulder.

"It's gonna be ok." I whispered.

"I don't wanna go back." Sherri finally spoke, coming back from the hug.

"Well....." I stopped for a moment to think. "You don't have to."

"Oh no, I couldn't stay here." Sherri replied, catching on to what I was thinking.

"Of course you could. If you really feel like you need a night away, just stay here."

"But I-"

"There's a guest room down the hall. I can give you pajamas, a toothbrush, anything you need. And tell you what, I'll even make a gourmet breakfast for you in the morning." I smiled.

Sherri laughed.

"Well as long as it really is ok with you." She smiled.

"It really is."
