Teri's POV

I. Was. Nervous.

God, was I nervous.

I was on my way to the audition, where I knew no one but Sherri, and barely had any idea what I was doing.

I pulled up to the studio and went in the door.

"You must be Teri Polo." Said a man waiting for the elevator.
"Bradley." He continued. "Bredeweg. Producer."

"Nice to meet you." I smiled, shaking his hand.

"You too!" He replied. "I take it you know Sherri? She told us all about you."

"Yes, we're, uh...good friends." I said.
Why did I stumble on our status? "She convinced me to come down and audition."

"We're glad!" Bradley said back.

The elevator opened and we both got in.

"All today is going to be is first, your single audition, and then we'll pair you and Sherri up, along with Sherri and the other candidate to play Stef, and we'll do chemistry readings and stuff like that." Brad explained.

'Oh god...' I thought to myself, '...there's someone else going for this part...I thought Sherri said they didn't have anyone!!!'

"Sounds good!" I fake smiled.

The elevator stopped on the third floor.

I entered a large room with food on all the tables, staff standing around connecting wires and cables, dressing rooms in every corner, and Sherri, standing at a door labeled "Location A", putting shoes on.

I was able to spot her through all the chaos and business and people and walking and talking.

Maybe it was because she's so god damn beautiful.

"Teri!" She smiled, waving when she noticed me.

I blushed and walked to her as she walked to me.
We met in the middle and hugged for a little longer than what felt normal. But I kind of liked it.

"Are you excited?!" She asked.

"Yeah!" I smiled. "I just talked to Bradley..."

"Already?! Wow he must like you." She laughed. "Isn't he the sweetest guy?"

"Yeah, he's great!" I said. "But he told me that there's someone else here to audition for Stef...?"

Sherri looked at me.

"They were desperate, Teri. Someone else brought someone in too." She said.

"I'm so nervous. What if I don't get the part?"

"I don't know, Teri. I don't know. But I do know that we'll have a better chemistry read than the other girl and I because we actually know each other."

I nodded in agreement.

Before I could say anything else, a tall man got our attention.

"Cast and crew and people who are here for auditions!" He yelled.

Everything got quiet and all eyes were on this man.

"Most of you already know me." He continued. "But if you don't, I'm Peter. I work alongside Bradley as a producer."

He pointed to Bradley, and Bradley waved at the crowd.

"Today is gonna be really simple for most." Peter continued. "If you're already cast, you're here to look at costumes and makeup. Unless you're Sherri."
