The weekend was boring as hell, nothing to do at all. Then Monday and Tuesday came and went in a blink of an eye. It was Wednesday and in less than two weeks school was gonna start and all my summer consisted off was a break up and a fuck boy. I needed to do something before summer was over but I didn't know what yet.

I'm laying in bed on my phone when my mom walks in and asks my sisters and I if I want to go with her to buy some groceries. I had nothing better to do, "Sure."

"Get ready then," she says as she walks away.

We all go outside looking for the car. We walked up the hill, then behind the buildings and there was nothing to be found. We call my uncle to ask him where he parked the car and he said it had been in front of the rental office, but it wasn't there either. We called the towing company and they said that they had towed it the night before because it had been parked in the same spot for over two night, but that wasn't true either. That sure ruined the plans to go anywhere.

Erick had texted me to come over with some money so we could cop a dime. I told my mom that I wanted to go to Carla's to do our AP History summer assignment so she said it was fine. I got ready, and managed to get 10 bucks out of my mom's boyfriend.

I walked down the hill, through the creek, past the townhouses, through willow run and under the bridge. We met where we always did, at the park.

"I just hit up my brother Jay and he's going to be here soon so we can all go smoke," Erick said as we walked back and forth along his building.

"Ok, that's cool," I say as I sit on the curb next to his dads car.

He starts laughing, "Your friend Noor is cute, I want to make her mine and I really like her."

My heart stopped, I started to feel so many feelings at once because that whore has a bad habit of taking advantage of people like him for free things and then dropping them like they weren't shit... the way she did with me.

"Nah, Don't go looking all sad now, what we're doing is just being friends with benefits. Neither of us is supposed to get attached," he said as he pulled me up off the curb.

I smiled, "I know, don't worry I'm good."

"Ok and when my brother comes he's gonna be with two other guys, but talk because he doesn't like shy girls... that's why he hated my ex and I don't really want him to hate you," Erick started pacing back and forth again.

I just nodded as we walked to a car that pulled up. He told me to scoot in and sit in the middle.

"Hey," his brother said eyeing me up and down.

"Hi," I smiled back and tried to be as hype as possible.

He didn't really start up any type of conversation on our way to Shoppers and then when we got there Erick made me go inside with him and his brother to exchange coins. When we got back in the car they all were talking about where to go to smoke and I didn't know that we were all gonna smoke.

We stop by a 7-11 to get the rollups and then go to a park off Edsall and smoke there. The guy that had been in the passenger seat didn't smoke so he stayed in the car, when we were done we had to go drop off Jay at his job and when I looked at the time it was nearly 4 and I need to be getting my ass back home. We went all the way to Potomac Yards to drop him off and then Erick and I were dropped off at his place.

We went through the laundry rooms from the other buildings till we got to his. We sat there and talked about how he wanted Noor.

"I bet you 100 bucks that I can get her by the end of first quarter," Erick said grinning hard as fuck.

I didn't really like talking about that bitch, "I guess."

He got up and pulled me up into his body, "But I don't want her to know about you and I because then that just might fuck it all up for me."

Noor already knew that I was fucking with him, but to that devil child nothing meant shit to her so she might as well go for him. But I just nodded.

We started kissing and like always... fucked.

When I left it was five and I needed to hurry home. I got there and my mom called me into her room where my uncle and sisters were in there too.

"Why are you home so late?" My mom was mad.

I had to be stable for a minute, "It was raining and I didn't have anything to cover me."

She sat up, "That didn't stop you from walking home in the rain last week."

I sighed, "But I had an umbrella last time and I was with Kimberly."

She looked me dead in the eye this time and said, "Listen you're starting to be all shady again like the way you were when you started going out with Oscar. Don't you forget that everything and I mean EVERYTHING, comes out and into the light at some point. So whatever you're doing stop doing it because I will find out. It's a small world and the people you think that aren't watching are and it always comes back around."
