(Scene took place 8 years ago, before the present time.)
Wisteria looks at the waiting area's team colors.
Yellow, Red, Green, Blue.
The four siblings are often competitive with one another... well mostly it was Red and Blue.
Still, she couldn't help but feel...excluded.
The filly's sigh caught the attention of Ace Teenclerk, who had just finished making preparations for the next round.
He was the stallion behind the scenes. He supported the creation of the Maze Teamwork Game.
"What's up, my lil purple?" Ace ruffled her hair, making her shift her attention to him, "a bit for your thoughts?"
Wisteria was hesitant at first to share what she was thinking. She glanced at the colors again. "...Will I ever be able to join them?"
Ace followed her gaze to where ponies would sit in a team plot they wanted. "Like having your own team?"
She shyly nodded.
He softly chuckled, "well you didn't hear it from me but... your mother's been planning on doing that. Currently looking at the items for you."
"R-really...?"
"Yeah. Skele's thinking of introducing it when you're a young mare. After all, business has been growing."
Ace could see the rising excitement emitting on her face. "So you'll just have to wait."
Wisteria pouts, "not fair...but I guess I can wait..."
"Haha! That's the spirit! Now, want to help me bake your mother's favourite dessert?"
Without hesitation, she agreed. It'll distract her from thinking too much about the future.
Yet, she was glad about what she had learnt today. So she'll patiently wait for that day.
Unfortunately, that team hadn't been formed.
