22: Goat?

Although it felt like forever since Garroth and Laurance left, it was actually only a couple of weeks. It was nighttime, and you found out the only way to calm yourself down, was to take walks during the night.

You put on all black, and head out, with a diamond sword hidden inside of your hoodie.

When you get outside of your house, a cold breeze hits you, instantly making you feel relaxed.

You sigh. "When is Garroth coming back?"

"Soon." A voice said behind you. You turn around to see...

Brian.

"Cheezus, Brian." You whisper/yelled.

"Sorry, (y/n)." He also whisper/yelled.

"You're lucky I didn't took out my sword."

"Well, just wanted to check on you. I saw you from the guard tower." He pointed towards a tall building that used to be a clearing next to Phoenix Drop.

"Oh! You finished it?"

"Yeah. Took a while, but it's done." He said, grinning.

You smile back. Many changes were made since they had left. A wheat field that replaces a house that brings bad memories to everyone, another path to the town square, and many more to come.

"It's getting late. Want me to accompany you inside?" Brian asked, shivering.

"Sure! I'll make you some soup as well." You say, walking back home.

"So... are you gonna help set up the party?" Krystal asked, her eyes a caramel color. She just finished one of your strawberry pies, which Alyssa taught you how to make it. You were both still sitting.

"Okay... but I don't understand something. Why is the party delayed until today?" You asked.

"You'll see soon my child..." Krystal then got up, and left.

"Hey! I'm not a kid!" You called out for her, but she didn't come back. She had a weird color in her eyes... huh.

Well, off to work.

You took out all of the foldable tables and chairs. There were at least 10 tables and 40 chairs, but you chose 2 tables and 8 chairs.

With your back aching, you finally finish the setup.

"They're back!" I hear Jeremy yell. Then people murmuring.

"Who's back?" You ask, curious.

"Um... Dale! Yeah! He came back from fishing! And the fish!" Ty said, frantic.

"No! It was G-" Jeremy started, but was interrupted by Tiana covering his mouth.

"It was Goat! Yeah!" Tiana said/yelled.

"Goat?" You ask with an accent.

"Lady Aphmau's friend that she kisses." Krystal shouted.

"Umm... okay? Well, I'm gonna bake some of my famous pies and cake!" You say, and head back to your house.

After baking everything, you see someone talking to Krystal. Krystal's eyes were hot pink. Her whole face was red.

"Ummm, Krystal?" You ask. Her eyes grow wide and the person talking to Krystal turned around.

I was working on this for a long time! So sorry for the BIG delay. Writer's block and school equals a big mess. So, writer's block went away, and now I have to deal with middle school. Ugh.
