32: Biggest Fear

Before y'all hate meh, lemme just say I wuv you guys.

After getting most of the redness in your eyes out, you head out with your armor, to Lady Aphmau's house. A light blue amulet hung around your neck, given to you by Lady Katelyn.

You head up the stairs to the boy's room. There, you see Aphmau in a new outfit.

"Lady Aphmau." You bowed.

"(y/n)! Good job on the wall." She smiled. Behind her, little Levin and a ghost boy was playing together.

Then the little ghost boy started to rub his head.

"Mom, my head hurts." He said.

"Okay Malachi... I'll bring some warm milk for you." Then she was off.

You head to Malachi.

"Are you okay?" You ask him.

"Y-Your amulet. The evil..." Purple particles started surrounding him. You grab Levin, and put him behind you. Then what once was a little boy, now was a tall black ghostly figure. Like the Grim Reaper.

"Hm! I wOnDeR! wHaT iS yOuR bIgGeSt FeAr?" He said, cackling.

Then everything turned white.

At last, an image was in sight.

The whole village was destroyed... lifeless bodies littered the floor as well as ashes and debris.

The only thing that scares you the most was that you can barely see the faces of the bodies. It is all blurred out... like someone didn't want you to see them dead. You can only identify them by their clothes.

Tears start forming in your eyes when you see tiny bodies together, tiny rectangles in a group.

"Why...?" You ask no one.

But, one of the body's faces wasn't blurred out. Platinum blonde hair, armor with a black cross on it.

"No... NO!" You run to Garroth's lifeless body. You check his pulse... there was none.

"I shouldn't have left." Anger, guilt and sadness washed all over you.

Images of everyone in the village replayed in your head... and I mean EVERYONE in the village. At last, ice blue eyes, a charming smile, and a half on helmet.

Garroth...

"NO!"
