I am speechless. This... this is amazing! But, I need to ask... What should I do?
Here is what I'll do now! I'll make a ending that will not happen in the end of this book. Enjoy!
The Made-Up Ending
You search for him.
"GARROTH! Garroth if you hear me, send me a sign! Please..." You look at the ruins of Phoenix Drop. You feel warm water on your face. Then there was clanging. A piece of metal landed beside your feet.
"G-GARROTH!" You run to the direction where the metal came from. Then you see a body. With ice blue eyes and blonde hair.
"No!" You run to Garroth.
"H-Hey ___." He weakly said.
"Don't you 'Hey' me, mister."
"Heh... sorry. Hard to make small talk when you're about to-" He gets interrupted by you kissing his lips.
"Don't you die on me." You say, tears falling.
"I promise." You pick up Garroth, and try to run to the temporary base.
"If-If I do die, promise me that you will have a happy life." Garroth said.
"Okay. I'll help Lady Aphmau rebuild the village. I'll help build Ty's library, Tiana's cafe, and Krystal's bakery. But, the catch is that you will not die." You say, trying to make it sound like a order.
"___. Yes I will. And, that's not what I mean by having a happy life. You will marry-" He gets interrupted again by you talking.
"No. I will not marry someone else other than you." You say.
You both got to the base and rushed to the healing tent. In there was Dr. Doctor, and Lucinda.
"Can you help Garroth?"
"Of course." Dr. Doctor picked up Garroth, and head into a blocked off space.
You go to Aph's tent. "Lady Aphmau?"
She open the tent. "Didn't I say to call me Aph?" Then she gasp. "Here come inside." You explain everything to her.
"Wh-What if Garroth does die?" You say, your everywhere shaking.
"Then I'll stick with you. We are best friends, right?" Aph had a small smile.
You try to smile. "Best friends." Then Lucinda burst in the tent.
"Garroth." She said. You run to the healing tent and into the blocked off space. In there, was a pale Garroth and a frantic Dr. Doctor.
You rush over to Garroth. "No-" You get cut off by Garroth kissing you.
"Hey. Let's talk about positive things." He said.
"Well... the village will have a whole makeover."
"How about everyone?"
"Everyone's fine. Just a few scratches. And for Dale, Brian, and I... a few scrapes and stabs here and there... mostly the stabs for me." You say:
"Let me see." You show him the stab on your arm.
"Are you okay?" He had a worried look on his face.
"Very." He smiles.
"I-I'll miss you." He says.
"Hey. Don't break any promises."
"I won't." Then he gets up to kiss you. When your lips touch there was sparks. Then he pulled back. At least, that's what you thought.
There was a thump. You look at Garroth. You checked his pulse. Nothing.
"GARROTH!" You hug him.
"Please let this be a cruel joke." But no response. You didn't hear everyone piling into the tiny space.
"No. No no no no no no!" You buried your face in his chest.
Someone tapped your shoulders. It was Aph. "Let's go get some fresh air."
After the stroll, you go to the space Garroth was kept. There was no sign of a coffin yet. You hold Garroth's hand, which was cold. You try to smile.
"You broke our promise."
Much, much luv <3
