You go to the Town Square to start your new book. Ty was behind you, carrying her own book she had picked out. First you both had gone to Lady Irene's statue and threw a golden nugget in the water. You see iron ingots, golden ingots, gold nuggets, and even some diamonds in the fountain. All a tribute towards the Divine Warrior herself.
You turn around to see the booths, to see 3 people working on something. Krystal setting out baked treats on the temporarily placed tables, Tiana bringing out bowls and cups of drinks, and Jeremy laying out decorations everywhere.
"Do you know what the heck is happening, (y/n)?" Ty whisper-asked you.
"I have no idea, whatsoever." You say, and had decided to go ask Krystal what is going on.
"Oh, (y/n)!" She spots me, her eyes caramel. "We're throwing a tiny party before Garroth and Laurance leave!"
"Wait, they're leaving?!" You felt your eyes grow wide.
"Yeah. Zoey told me first, since my bakery was closest to Lord Aphmau's home and told me to tell everyone."
"Ah." You wonder why they didn't plan this out with you.
"Who is this beautiful lady?" Krystal gestured to Ty.
"Oh! This is Tyler, but she prefers Ty." You say, hopeful that Krystal doesn't make fun of Ty's name.
"Cool name! Very unique, for a girl. I like it!" Krystal set down the double chocolate fudge cookies near the milk that has vanilla extract mixed into it.
You smile, relived of the weight off of her shoulders. "Oh yeah!" A question popped into your head. "Did you meet everyone?"
"Yeah! But we haven't met Ty yet." She says. You walk to the girl reading the book.
"Hey, Ty?" You try to get her attention.
"Yeah?" Ty closes her book, and looks at you.
"Wanna meet some of the people here in the village?"
"Sure, but... what if they make fun of my name?"
"Then they are jerks. I'll not hang out with them, anymore. But Krystal is cool."
Just then, Krystal waves at you guys,
"See?"
"Alright, then..." Ty looked at you, with a big smile planted in her face. "Let's go."
Much luv <3
