27: Why is SHE Here?

All eyes were on both of us, once more. Laurance's, Brian's, and the new knight's eyes... looking at our every movement.

Don't rage... don't rage.

"Hey, guys. What parts of the village was taken?" You said, calmly.

"Lady Aphmau's house with the docks, Kawaii~Chan's neighborhood, and here." Laurance reported. There was two places left... the town square and the old guard tower.

"I'll take the town square." You say, not wanting to go to the old guard tower.

"I'll go patrol the area near the old guard tow-"

"Ummm... guys? WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!" Brian interrupted, pointing toward the window that overlooks the docks. You rushed to the window, and saw a big... and I mean BIG ship with light blue sails. Your head started to hurt, but you ignored it.

"O'Khasis ship." You said. But surprisingly, someone said that too... at the same time as you. It was the one and only, Garroth.

"Someone warn Lord Aphmau." Garroth commanded. Laurance ran to the ladder and went down as fast as someone on a speed potion.

"I'll go check it out." I say.

"I'll go as well." Garroth said.

There she was. The one and only Katelyn the Fire Fists. Why was she here... you do not know.

"Excuse me Lady Katelyn, but may I ask politely... why are you here at the village of Phoenix Drop."

"I come to seek audience with your Lord, not her head guard."

"Before you get to her, you address me." Garroth said, with a tone of voice you have hear him use... his voice was cold, demanding, and almost like those spoiled Lords. You start to shake, but no one noticed.

"Just because you are the son of the Lord of O'Khasis does not mean I would hesitate to pull your tongue from your-" Katelyn started, but got interrupted by our savior, Lady Aphmau.

"Hey! Wait a minute! That is completely uncalled for!" Her voice rang from behind us.

The one that was caught by Garroth.

A tiny part of your brain was jealous, but you just ignored it. After all, she did saved Garroth's tongue.

They both talked privately... but Garroth seems to still hear them.

You wonder about what had Katelyn said. The son of the Lord of O'Khasis...

After a while, Aphmau and Katelyn walk up the stairs to her house. After a couple of minutes, she exited Aphmau's house, and went to her ship. You sigh in relief. This will be the last time you see her, right?
