20.04.1964
Lorraine and Ed Warren were working on a case in an antique shop where there was a cursed mirror. At the time, Lorraine was pregnant with Judy Lilian's little sister. Little Lilian was at home being looked after by her grandmother.
The two investigators sat at a table with Victoria Granger.
Ed started the recorder and said "My name is Ed Warren, here with my wife, Lorraine, and Victoria Granger. It's April, 20th, 1964. Victoria... when did you first notice these super natural ocurrances?"
"I'm sorry, I don't know how to do this." replied Victoria.
"Why don't you just take us back to the beginning?" Ed said to the woman.
The woman then began to tell what they had experienced.
"My father felt as if something was following him. Something he couldn't see. He would lock the doors at night and the next morning they they'd be open. Then, he started hearing voices. I didn't believe him. I thought he was getting old, you know? But then, I came in one day and I found him hanging. It was so quiet here after he was gone. But then, something changed. I could feel it. This really strange feeling, like... like I'm being watched. There's something in there. And when I'm here alone, and when it's very quiet, i-it calls to me."
Ed and Lorraine looked over to the storage Room door. They looked at each other and stood up. Together, the two walked toward the door.
Ed opened the door and Lorraine went in.
"Hon... I don't know. I don't have a good feeling about this." said Ed, worried about his wife and their unborn baby.
"Ed. I can do this." said Lorraine, looking at her husband.
The two looked at each other for a while before Ed nodded in agreement and let Lorraine walk further in to the Room.
Lorraine looked around. It was dark and gloomy. As she looked around, she heard names being whispered. Lorraine quickly turned around. And there was the mirror.
She went to the mirror which was covered with a fabric which she pulled down
Lorraine looked in the mirror and then spoke "My name is Lorraine Warren. I'm here to help. I can feel your spirit, your fear. There's something else"
Lorraine heard a cracking sound behind her. The woman quickly turned around. The door was closed, and Ed was no longer in sight.
"What are you..." said Lorraine.
She now reached to touch the mirror and as soon as her fingertips touched it, the glass break which made her pull back quickly.
As she looked back to the mirror, she saw herself but smiling deviously. In the Arms a baby.
Lorraine suddenly felt a stabbing pain in her stomach. She doubled over in pain and called for her husband. "ED"
Ed, still at the door, heard her calling. He quickly went inside and saw her holding her stomach in pain. "Lorraine, what happened?!"
Lorraine was now kneeling on the ground and looking up towards her husband. "The baby..."
She was quickly taken to the hospital in the hope that everything was okay with the baby.
Judy was stillborn at first, but when Lorraine held her in her arms, she was miraculously life again.
Memories:
Little Judy and Lilian were running around barefoot across the garden, laughing.
Judy clutches her doll, wide-eyed. “Mommy… I see something. In the dark.”
Lilian looked worried at her Mother. Judy seems to have the same powers as Sid and her mother.
Lorraine kneels, brushing Judy’s hair back. “You don’t have to look at it, sweetheart. You can shut it out. Just like Lilian.”
She touches her daughter’s forehead gently and ruffled her eldest daughter's hair.
Judy nods, but then starts to sing, almost in a trance.
“Lucy Locket lost her pocket, Kitty Fisher found it… Not a penny was there in it, Only ribbon round it…”
Her eyes flick up, as if staring at something behind Lorraine. “You’re not there.”
Lilian followed her gaze and saw it too. She gasped.
