It was evening and Lilian was just passing the stairs when she heard Lorraine say her name from upstairs. "Mom?"
"Could you come up here, please?"
Lilian heard this and went upstairs. Once at the top, she saw that the ladder to the attic had been lowered. Confused, Lilian approached them and climbed up the ladder. "Mom?"
Once upstairs, Lilian looked around to find her mother, but it was too dark. She flipped the light switch, but it didn't work. Lilian grabbed a flashlight.
With her flashlight on, she saw that her mother was not there at all. Lilian narrowed her eyes suspiciously and went further in, almost tripping on a floorboard lying there open.
Lilian looked in a mirror. A mirror that made her uncomfortable. She began to hear strange noises surrounding her which made her look around before she looked back to the mirror.
Lilian reached out to touch the mirror. It probably wasn't a good idea, but she had to do it nonetheless.
As soon as she touched the mirror, the noises stopped and Lilian breathed a sigh of relief.
At that moment, a piece of chalk rolled straight toward her. Lilian gasped, took a few steps back, and grabbed her flashlight. She quickly shone it in the direction the chalk came from and saw a writing on the ceiling.
'miss me?'
Lilian knew immediately what was coming. "Annabelle."
Then a wooden rocking chair moved back and forth. Lilian quickly looked there, but no one was there.
More things fall down. She quickly went to the exit, climbed down, and quickly closed the attic.
Lilian quickly went to tell Drew or her parents what had just happened when she heard Carin calling her name. "Lilian? Are you there?"
"Carin?" Asked Lilian.
She turned around to go to the room, Lilian walked in and shone her flashlight around the room.
Carin wasn't in the room. It was someone else, or rather something else. The Annabelle Doll.
The doll was facing the wall and had its back turned on Lilian, just sitting there.
Suddenly Annabelle's head twitched quickly, which made Lilian jump out of fear as it began to stand and grow.
"Oh god," Lilian backed toward the door. But the doll followed her.
The Woman tripped and began crawling backwards caused by the doll's massive hand grabbing a hold of the wall and damaging it.
Lilian got up as quickly as possible and ran near the stairs, shining her flashlight to see where the doll was, until it caught her by surprise and appeared out of nowhere, charging at her and making her fall down the stairs.
Ed, Drew and Lorraine were walking up the stairs at the time and only to see Lilian falling down the stairs.
"Lilian!"Drew kneeled next to his wife helping her to get up.
"Your head! What happened?" Asked Lorraine her daughter with worry.
Lilian looked behind her mother, where she saw the big Annabelle doll charging at her, before looking back to Lorraine. "There's something in the Attic."
Lorraine looked up the stairs to where the attic was. She stood up and walked up the rest of the stairs towards it and Ed followed behind her.
Arriving in the attic, they saw the mirror. The couple recognized it immediately.
It was the mirror that was in that antique shop from 22 years ago that Lorraine touched and nearly killed Judy when she was born.
"It can't be. It... found us." Said Ed and was shocked.
Lorraine stepped closer to the mirror.
Ed watched her and asked "Lorraine?"
She sowly moved her fingers towards the spot where she had touched the last time before it broke.
"No. Lorraine. No, don't." Ed tried to stop his wife but Lorraine touched the mirror in the same Spot.
As soon as Lorraine touched the mirror, she felt it. Something was different. "Ed... something's changed. Something's different."
The two of them looked to each other.
