I woke up in a strangely familiar room. My head was pounding and so was the wound in my stomach.
"Oh good! She's awake." A voice exclaimed. I assumed it was the doctor.
"Mmm... Where am I?" I asked.
The blonde grabbed my hand. "You are in my bedroom. Thank you Dr.Barrett."She said dismissively.
"What happened?" I asked. "And why does it feel like I've been here before?" She giggled. Oh that giggle. I knew I recognized her.
"I'd know that giggle anywhere. Nice to see you again , Snow flake. "
A wave of confusion flooded her face.
"Wh- No one has called me that since..." She gasped. "Fire fly! Is it really you?!" She threw her arms around my neck. Landing her lower body squarely on my wound. I hissed in pain.
"Oh my goodness! I am so sorry. Are you alright!?"
I bit my lip. Trying to look less in pain than I was.
"Anna will be so excited to see you again." I laughed
"Where is that little redhead anyway?"
"She is out in the stables with that horse of yours."
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing. You better get some rest."
I sat up.
"I think I have had enough rest to last a lifetime." I began to get out of bed. But, my plan was foiled when I felt ice form around my wrists. Chains. Of course.
"Oh, I see your hospitality has improved since I last saw you."
"I just want to make sure you don't hurt your self." I rolled my eyes and quickly melted the chains.
"I think you underestimate me."
I heard her growl and I gave her a teasing smirk.
