Recap: Haseena's first rasoi, Jhanvi gifted her a ancient knife and surya gifted her a revolver.. a hint of both surya and jhanvi knowing the truth behind the marriage.
Continue...
Abhinav and Karishma almost swept Haseena away before Anubhav could even utter a word to her. With a warmth she hadn’t yet shown him, they began showing her the vastness of the palace , its corridors echoing with history, its walls whispering stories she was yet to become a part of.
And she… she smiled.
Not the guarded, restrained smile she offered Anubhav… but something softer. Lighter. Real.
Anubhav stood there, unmoving.
For the first time in a long while, the Chakravarti Samrat felt something dangerously unfamiliar..
jealousy.
Jealousy… of his own blood.
His gaze followed her retreating figure, watching how effortlessly she walked beside them, how naturally she responded, how easily she was… becoming a part of their world.
A world he had claimed her into…
yet hadn’t truly given her a place in.
His jaw tightened almost imperceptibly.
Before his thoughts could spiral further, an attendant approached him and bowed deeply.
“Pranam, Rana Sa… aapko Maharaj ne bulaya hai. Kuch zaruri baat karni hai.”
Anubhav’s expression didn’t change, but his eyes darkened with a knowing glint.
He gave a slight nod.
The attendant took his leave.
Of course…
He knew.
He knew exactly why Surya Yadhuvanshi had summoned him.
This was inevitable.
For a brief moment, Anubhav turned his gaze back just once more.
Haseena’s figure was now distant, her laughter faintly echoing through the grand halls.
Something flickered in his eyes… something unreadable.
Then, without a word, he turned away.
And walked toward Surya Yadhuvanshi’s Office..each step carrying the weight of truths that refused to stay buried anymore.

Anubhav and Surya stood face to face two figures carved from the same storm. Their expressions were identical in their stillness: stoic, cold, unreadable… a reflection not just of blood, but of something far darker that ran through their veins.
“Haseena se zabardasti shaadi kyu ki?” Surya didn’t waste a second. His voice carried a quiet chill. “Jaante ho na woh kaun hai?”
Anubhav’s gaze didn’t waver. “Sahi se naam lijiye unka. Bhuliye mat… ab woh hamari ardhangini hain. Aur Aryawrat ki Maharani bhi.” His tone mirrored Surya’s .. controlled, sharp, unyielding.
“Hum jo pooch rahe hain, uska jawab do.”
A pause. Heavy. Then Anubhav spoke, almost dismissively, “Hum aapko kisi bhi baat ki safai dena zaruri nahi samajhte.” He turned slightly, as if the conversation had already ended for him.
“Safai nahi dena chahte… ya sach ko maana nahi chahte?” Surya’s lips curved into a faint smirk, his eyes gleaming with something almost… amused.
