She barely had time to scream before she was pulled into the classroom, the door slamming shut behind her. The sound of the lock clicking into place sent a cold shiver down her spine. Her breath came in short, panicked gasps as she pressed her back against the wood, her eyes went wide when she lifted her head
And meeting pair of hazel brown eyes which didn't looked normal
Anubhav.
A shadow in white, his kurta still untouched by color. But his eyes-his eyes burned like wildfire, dark and consuming, trapping her in a hold stronger than his grip. He stood mere inches away, his presence suffocating, his hands braced on either side of her, caging her in without even touching her.
Her stomach twisted violently.
This wasn't her imagination.
It was him.
"Aap..." Her voice barely escaped, her fear tangling the words in her throat.
A smirk ghosted his lips, but it held no warmth-only something raw, something dangerous.
"Haan, ham." His voice was deep, slow, laced with amusement at her fear. He leaned in just slightly, his breath a whisper against her skin. "Aapke hone wale pati.."
The words struck her like ice.
Haseena swallowed hard, her fingers curling into fists at her sides. "A-aap yha kya.."
"Aapko rangne aaye the, parantu." His voice dropped lower, the amusement fading into something darker.
His gaze flickered to her cheek-the stain of Rohan's color still there.
His expression hardened.
"Aapke is hone wale pati ko bilkul pasand nahi ki unki hone wali patni par kisi aur ka rang ho." His voice, though quiet, carried a lethal weight. "Aapko rang lagane ka adhikar sirf hamara hai, priye."
Haseena's breath hitched.
Her heart pounded violently in her chest, but she forced herself to speak, to push back against the unbearable intensity pressing down on her.
"A-aapki pasand h-hamare k-koi maayne nahi rakhti." Her voice shook, but the defiance was there, trembling yet alive.
A mistake.
His smirk widened-dark, cruel, possessive.
Haseena's entire body went rigid as he lowered his face just a fraction, his voice dropping into a low, threatening whisper.
"Remove this fucking color, Luna."
Her skin went cold.
He sounded like a cold blooded Animal.
She stared at him, her breath caught in her throat, her body refusing to move.
Anubhav exhaled slowly, his patience thinning.
"Or if you don't..." His voice was soft, deadly.
He leaned in , just close enough for her to feel the heat of his breath near her throat, but never touching. The anticipation, the restraint ,it made it worse.
"Then I will."
Haseena felt her pulse hammering against her ribs.
His smirk darkened.
"And if I touched you once, Luna..." He let the words hang, savoring the panic in her eyes. "Then I won't just remove that bastard's color."
