🌱~Abbie~🌱
One-Eyed Cult Leader
"Free time or afterschool."
"There's something I need to talk to you about."
"It's important."
Abbie stared at his device in hand, pondering along his travels. He had just recently caught up with his groups long list of messages—including personal chats—and could think of nothing but to air out his frustrations.
He did basically disappear for the whole day, so he kind of had this coming. But now, he definitely has to come up with some elaborate excuse for his absence. And honestly... he's got nothing.
But, attempting to look past that issue for now...
"Alr, we can talk after lunch."
"Is that ok with you?"
One-Eyed Cult Leader
"Yeah."
Claire's invitation sparked curiosity, and a tinge of nervousness within the apple. The last time they spoke personally like this was about her 'Star Eye,' as he likes to refer, and all of that lead to a bit of emotional shenanigans before things eventually calmed down.
"вы скоро узнаете."
. . .
But maybe... this could be what Goman was talking about. 'Find out' were the only words he was able to translate, but it was enough to tell him something ominous will happen to Claire. Wether good or bad, he can trust that he'll-
"Ugh!" He winced, slightly shrinking into himself. The core of his stomach pulsed in agony, a bearer for his injuries, and a cruel reminder for those he had faced. It pains him to even walk; his wounds needing the support of his hand to keep them from wailing. But with a few steady breaths, he continues, releasing his only comfort against the pain.
For now, he needs to bear with it, at least until he gets home... he can't let the others worry about him.
"Good morning Abbie! :D" He perks up, swiftly glancing between the school and its 'early birds,' surprised he's already at the front doors. "It's nice to see you here again!"
"Same here." Robby adds, waving alongside Ruby. Their greetings never seem to loose their warmth.
"It's nice to see you too." But his attention shifts, gazing at the nerd peering up from his novel—shutting it close after noticing his presence.
"Just when it was getting good." Kevin whispered, sighing heavily before making his way down the steps. "Follow me," was all he muttered while passing by, earning a pair of suspicious stares before abiding close behind.
"Some new rumors have surfaced about Bloomie, have you heard of them?" Abbie raised a brow.
"Can't say that I have."
"Hm... well from my understanding, most of what's gone around has been about her prosthetic. Which, from what I've heard, hasn't been seen attached to her arm since free period." Abbie slightly reeled, widening at the news; the sparks of that conflict flashing in view to her prized weapon.
"Wait, you mean her cutter?!"
"Yes. Others spoke about her tardiness, her new clothes, leaving in the middle of class to 'guard the demons den.' But when I heard something that iconic to her went missing, after years of its use..." Kevin paused, turning back with a glare that pierced the air. "You wouldn't happen to have been involved in its absence, would you?"
