From beyond the infinite space, stood acres and acres of grass that stretched beyond what the eye can see. From all this almighty land stood a singular tree, its importance stemming from its own isolation; needn't another replica to carry out its purpose. And from this lonesome tree, laid its visitor. Resting soundly against the howling wind.
His senses had been restored, but he didn't bother making use of them; having already spent the past minute lying flat on his back. Though his eyes remained opened, blessed by the protective shade as he slowly intoxicates himself into a trance.
But despite this, his mind remained vigilant. The battle against Bloomie had kept his senses sharp, even if death had claimed him. The sound of approaching footsteps reinforced that fact, his ears instinctively perking up as his savior slowly makes her way up to the fallen apple.
"You're not going to get up?" Inquired Goman, standing just out of Abbie's sight; not wanting to interrupt his blissful daze.
"I'm sorry Goman can I... can you give me a few minutes?" His fatigue remained evident throughout his words, sighing in between sentences to further prove his point.
"... I understand, you've been through a lot since our last conversation. I should've expected as much." Her footsteps can be heard crunching through the grass, growing farther and farther away before relaying her final message. "I'll be down the hill once you're ready to talk, you're free to take as much time as you need."
For a moment he took her words to heart, lying motionless for what felt like hours; precious hours he was wasting by drifting along the vast sea of his own mind. But it wasn't for no reason, as within that sea he found something... distasteful. A thought that really bothered him.
"... Despite what happens here Abbie, I don't... I don't blame you for what you tried to do here. And for that... I'm..."
A whirlwind of emotions stormed within the apple's mind, a stir of constant conflict residing in each varying perspective. Resentment, faith, confusion, curiosity, pity, and possibly many more stood at odds against one another.
He hated it, he hated that he was like this. Always fighting against himself more than anyone else deserving of his karma, a battle that he's always destined to loose.
He wished he was more simple, to be able to act independently without begging for someone's guidance. He wished he was more smarter, he wished he just... knew what to do. He wished-
'... I think I made her wait long enough.' Finally deciding to move out of his spot, he looks around, never growing tired of the majestic scenery around him before descending down the grass hill.

Eventually reaching the outskirts of the hill, he quickly made his way towards his savior. Her back was turned against him, only looking over her shoulder once she noticed his approaching footsteps.
"Finally ready to talk?" She taunted, making the apple stare in small shock as he slowed to a halt. "If I didn't know any better, I would've thought you were taking a nap."
A tinge of embarrassment seared within Abbie's cheeks. "I'm sorry if I kept you waiting, I..." his eyes broke contact, sheepishly scanning the ground for some kind of excuse. "I was just.. trying to clear up my mind is all."
"It's about that snake right?" His eyes shoot up at the nickname, hearing a deep sigh escape her lungs as she graces the apple with her full attention. "Listen despite what you may think, you did better than what anyone else could ever imagine. In fact, let's look at it this way."
