His body woke up before him. It's the only explanation for the shivers that adorn his body as he regains consciousness. It can only be the person currently spooning him. Sydney can't stop his heart which decides to beat abruptly. He bites his lip as he stills himself; unwilling to move lest he wakes up the man behind him. He's trying to keep his breath even but can barely manage. He knows it's only a matter of time before Lonwabo wakes. They've always been in sync like that.

"Baby boy," he hears behind him.

Ah, of course he's awake. He releases his lip to blow a raspberry. Why can't he get a break? He still hasn't recovered from the party but has gotten enough rest at least.

"I know you hear me talking to," Lonwabo continues with annoying him.

He opens his eyes but doesn't give him a reply. That's until he feels his hand brushing around his navel, making him gasp. Lonwabo chuckles, the sound vibrating on his back.

"Turn around, sweetheart. Let me see your handsome face"

He only does before said hand goes further down. It's bad enough that he woke up hard. He'd rather not have the older relishing in that. He's quick to turn, finding Lonwabo smirking at him.

"Hey," the older says.

He hums.

"Slept well?"

Sydney nods.

"Why am I getting the silent treatment? You're the one who cheated!" Lonwabo exclaims, sounding almost wistful.

"Cheated? We're not together," Sydney mutters.

The older grins, looking foolish in the younger's eyes.

"Ah, he speaks!"

He brushes his cheek, staring into his eyes as if he wants to imprint himself in Sydney's eyes. The eye contact is intense but the boy doesn't back down. Then, Lonwabo leans towards him and captures his lips. He allows it –  weak ,weak him does. He reciprocates it almost longingly, as if he's awaited this moment all his life. What starts off slow and sweet turns to him on his back, with Lonwabo on top of him and pressing their fronts together. They're both panting when the older finally breaks the kiss. He kisses his forehead then sits up.

"I'm so hard," Lonwabo says. "But you...you need some time. Let me go see Amora. She's probably wondering where I am"

For some reason, this has Sydney clicking his tongue. Of course he has a girlfriend. He came with her to the party and the two were all over each other at some point.

"You're jealous, baby? Don't worry. She's going to sort this little man out then she'll go back to her place so it can only be you. Happy?"

As if that'll make him happy. He hates how his mind doesn't function like it normally would in his presence. Lonwabo takes away his ability to think logically .

"Just leave," Sydney mumbles.

There's a knock on the door that halts whatever retort Lonwabo might've had. The door is burst open before any can respond. It's Ludi.

"Wow!" Ludi says the minute his eyes meet the two.

Lonwabo is topless and so is Sydney. Even a blind person can see what's happening here.

"First, TJ and now this? This from someone who was once homophobic? You just don't want us to work, do you?!"

He's not in the mood. In any other time, he'd be happy to see Ludi but not now. This boy broke up with him. Why does he care about what he gets up to?

"What do you want?" Sydney snaps

That catches Ludi off guard. What does he want? He didn't know what he was thinking when he came here. The logical part of him convinced him to come gather whatever he might've left in his place, still mad about him and TJ. He didn't think he'd walk in on him with yet another man nor did he see Sydney snapping at him like this. It breaks his heart. He tries opening his mouth to say something but the lump lodged on his throat makes it impossible. He takes a deep inhale as he blinks the tears away. He can't bring himself to say anything; instead opting to walk away. That's better for him.
