LUDI LAID awake deep in thought about the events of earlier. He regretted getting drunk and behaving like that but also knew if it wasn't because of that, he wouldn't be laying in Syd's arms. It almost felt like a dream that he wanted to pinch himself to see if it was real. Sure, they'd slept together before, but it wasn't like this. The boy had been between his thighs and ate him out, he'd kissed him until he was panting. Thought of those events had butterflies flapping in his stomach. His phone rang throughout the room, waking even the sleeping boy. " S-sorry," Ludi nervously said. He feared how Syd would react now that he was awake. A lot had happened which made him question a lot of things. He'd made it clear more than once that he didn't feel that way about it, that he wasn't gay and even screamed his disgust for homosexual people. Did what transpired between them change things? With trembling hands, he picked up his phone and answered. "Hello?"
"The driver's waiting for you outside," Fire informed on the other end. He quickly went to the window and found that he was right. "You came to get me?"
"Just come out alright. We have a lot to do," Fire said then hung up. Ludi slowly turned to face Sydney, still in his naked form and a little self-conscious. Syd was watching him intensely which had him feeling worse. He looked down ain search for his clothes but also to avoid Syd's gaze. He didn't want to think about what might be going through the older's mind. Maybe he regretted what happened.
"I can feel you overthinking from here," Syd said as Ludi ran his eyes around the floor. He looked up at him but only briefly then his gaze returned to the floor. "I owe you an apology. For everything. I'm still...trying to make sense of everything. Can you spend the night again? I know you have to leave."
"You...you don't regret it?" Ludi asked with his eyes now looking at him. Syd smiled and shook his head. "Not even a bit. In fact, come sit on my face quickly before you leave."
"Sydney!" Ludi screamed, unable to hide the blush on his cheeks. The older only chuckled and got off the bed, embracing the shorter male. Ludi melted in the embrace, feeling a little dreamy because he never thought that day would come. He broke the embrace when the car outside hooted, almost scaring him. "I have to go"
Syd helped him get dressed but didn't let him leave without giving him a sober kiss. Ludi felt gushy inside, unable to wipe the smile that was on his face. he kept clenching his thighs as he remembered the night, replaying it on his mind like a broken record. He was in love and he couldn't even hide it.

"It's about damn time!" Fire exclaimed when Ludi finally arrived at his house and in his room. He pulls him over, scrutinising every part of him and landing on his rosy cheeks. "You gave the pussy away?" he asks in slight disappointment.
"What? No. well, I would have but no. why is you sounding like my mother?" Ludi questioned with a raised eyebrow. "I'm sixteen you know, and you've been having sex way before."
"You're not me Ludi and you're the one with the pussy. Besides, Sydney's a jerk and I wouldn't want you doing anything with him before he makes it up to you. He treated you badly these previous days." Fire said, concern laced on his voice. Ludi smiled brightly at his friend's caring, hugging him briefly before letting go. He needed to take a shower.
"I'm still a virgin just so you know. He only gave me head and it was the most amazing thing ever. Then he apologised before I came here and I'm spending the night at his place again. I think...in fact I know that I'm falling for him."
"You already have but we'll talk about it. go shower, we have a lot to do."
Ludi nodded then went into the bathroom. His toiletry was there too so all he had to do was basically step into the shower tub.
Fire waited while scrolling through his phone. They were going to the spa for massages and facials. He wanted to feel fresh for his party which was just in a few hours. The phone rang indicating a facetime from Mimi. He answered it because of curiosity, wondering why she was calling since they'd spoken earlier. He hoped they weren't going to tease him or upset him in anyway. He wasn't in the mood for any of their nonsense.
"Hey, you good? I'm sorry about earlier. We were too much," Mimi said. "It's fine." Fire replied which had Mimi frowning. He didn't seem as cheerful as usually is which worried Mimi. "Are you fine? You weren't like this in the morning. Is everything OK?"
"Everything's fine Yeon. I'm in the birthday mode."
Mimi laughed. "Birthday mode?" he nodded and gave her a slight smile. "I'm sixteen now so I can't be all smiley like a retard. I'm not a toddler." That made the girl laugh again which caught her brother's attention. He had just come into the house from a jog and decided to check who his sister was on the phone with. They did that with each other. "But I love the happy Fire," Mimi said. "Hey babe, looking good." TJ said then got off the screen. Fire only rolled his eyes at that before deciding to reply to Mimi.
"I don't need to smile to show I'm happy. Hey, you bought me a gift, right? I hope it's over 10k for your brother since he's trying to court me."
He wiggled his eyebrows with a grin while Mimi chuckled at that. it was no secret that the boy loved nice things. Some called him high maintenance, also adding the fact that he'd never dated an average girl. "I thought the invites said a gift that's not less than a 1000. When did it get to ten times that amount? He's a school kid." Mimi reminded but the boy shook his head. "I'll be wearing Versace velvet loafers and a Versace gold bracelet which cost over twenty k. if he can't afford me then he better halt his advances."
"OK, I'll definitely let him know. I love how outspoken you are. It's an admirable trait," Mimi said and he smirked. "Don't turn straight on me now, you're not my type." Fire joked. They continued talking and laughing until Fire had to leave. Ludi was done now and they had to run errands. Mimi went to her brother's room who had just got out of the shower. It's then that she realised how lengthy her facetime with Fire had been.
"He wants a gift that's over 10k. I know it's nothing but do you think you'll be able to afford him? he has expensive taste," Mimi informed him. she was a bit worried about it even though 10k wasn't a hustle. "And you don't spend that much on your hoes unless we're adding the total on all of them."
"Relax sis. And he's not going to be one of my hoes. I got this so don't worry," TJ said and Mimi nodded at that. "I'm bringing Jamie to his party, wanna see how he'll react to that. it's a little test to see if he likes me like that."
"What? Do you think that's safe?" Mimi asked and he smiled with a shrug. "It won't hurt. If he doesn't like it then I'll uber him home."
"What about how Jamie is going to feel about that? you're taking one of your hoes to a possible boyfriend's party. How does that mean Fire isn't going to be one of them?" Mimi asked, perplexed. She didn't get how her brother's mind worked sometimes. Well, most of the time. "The invite did say we can bring a partner," the boy answered with a shrug. Mimi only shook her head then left his room. He was being crazy.
*****
The black carpet stretched from the gate all up to inside the hall where the party would be held. The theme was black, red and gold. The seats of the guests were crystal with matching tables. The said tables had golden table clothes with vases that had red rose bouquets. Each seat had the name of the guest it was reserved for, all in the order of importance. On the entrance, there was a receivable gift point where the guests had to leave the gifts they've bought before entering. It was strictly no gifts no entry setting. The theme was also something Fire took seriously and therefore had his parents appoint bouncers at the entrance who only let people in the correct theme in. It was either black, red, gold or nothing. It's like a castle inside, the decor having been created with precision and attention to detail. Gold chandeliers hang from the ceiling with the numbers one and six in between. There was a stage where Fire, his parents and date oath to sit. There was another table close to the stage for his siblings and one for close friends next to it.
"Oh shit," Mimi exclaimed when they arrived in their car at the venue. There was a big board that's written "Happy 16th Fire" in bold, golden italics by the entrance with a picture of the boy wearing a gold crown with a smile. "They took a lot of thought into this."
"They sure did. Why does it look like we're first to arrive?" TJ asked. Mimi shrugged at that.
No one will be allowed inside the hall until Fire arrives. The two get out of the car with their respective dates.
"Names?" the valet asked. They hadn't been allowed inside yet since they had to give him the keys.
"Miyeon and TJ?" Mimi said, a little unsure because she didn't know how formal they had to be. "Says here TJ and Yeon plus 2. You can come out."
He opened the door and they did, taking their car keys so he could park their car. The greeter at the gate allowed them entry since they had gifts with them. They met up with a photographer who took a snap of the first guests.
"It's beautiful." Mel said. Different pictures of the boy welcomed them. From when he was a day old, his first day at kindergarten to the night before he turned sixteen. They were on display screens which aligned the sides of the black carpet. "Fuck," TJ said who couldn't get over how cute and handsome his crush looked.
"I know right. Good choice," Mimi said while giving him a pat. "Excuse me?" Jamie exclaimed but no one paid him any mind. They took the gift bags to the reception, giving it to the beautiful lady who in return gave Mimi and TJ cards with their names. "No one's allowed inside until Fire's grand entrance."
"Talk about a spoiled brat," Jamie said while taking pictures of himself at the venue. Who wouldn't want to be seen at Fire's party anyway?
More guests arrived in different fancy cars and all dressed up to a ten. Girls in high heels and make up on fleek and the boys smelling good and looking ravish. It was like a red carpet event, the cameraman taking pictures like the paparazzi. TJ also noticed Fire's friends who'd come alone. He also noticed Aly, Ciara and Ntombi who all came to him. Jamie was getting upset at seeing him give attention to other people but there wasn't anything he could do. "Looking sexy Ntombi, thighs out and all," TJ said and grabbed her arse, giving it a squeeze. She was in a black short sequin dress which accentuated her curvy figure. "Not bad yourself TJ."
"I wonder who's going to be his date," Aly said with a sad tone. It would have been her if she hadn't messed up. "Get over it Aly. You're still a kid and you have me," Ciara said while kissing her cheek.
"You been playing around without me?" TJ asked with feigned hurt. "You've hardly had time for us anyway," Ntombi said and he chuckled.
"Been busy," he said with a shrug.
Almost all the guests had arrived, including the boy's family so they were only waiting for him. Nicki Minaj's high school was bumped, echoing all over as most of the teens waited for the lyrics to come so they can rap along.
"Is that a chopper?" Jamie shouted while going live on his Instagram. He couldn't believe it. "Talk about a grand entrance. Is he gay? I want a piece of him!"
"He mine so hold it," TJ scolded. He didn't know why he was getting excited and felt like calling his mom to come see. He also had his phone out, wanting to catch every moment so he can watch over at home. The carpet was wide enough for the helicopter to land. It also had a picture of Fire holding two number balloons which read sixteen. It opened, revealing Ludi first who stepped out and waved with a smile. Syd took a time to appreciate how good he looked in the clothes he bought him. The pants were tied and the top almost cropped. The younger blew him a kiss which he smiled at. He then held out his hand for Sage, Fire's date who looked beautiful. She was in 6inch Jimmy Choo black red bottom sandals and a Versace Barocco Print Asymmetric silk dress. Her braids were styled in an up do and she looked beautiful with minimum makeup. Jamie was the only one freaking out.
"That's Versace! She's a fucken kid so where does she get the money?!"
"Will you shut up? You're getting embarrassing," TJ said who was beginning to regret bringing him. Then came out the man of the moment who's first thing to see was his golden cane and black velvet Versace red bottom loafers. He wore a black Versace fur coat with black slim dress pants and the same crown on his head. "Y'all better bow for the king!" he screamed over the music before both his feet touched the carpet. Everyone screamed when they saw him. He waved like Ludi did then walked into the hall. When the three were seated, everyone else was allowed in. Family and close friends used a different entrance since they took priority.

"Remind me to never take you anywhere again. Do I look like I do ratchet?" TJ sneered at Jamie who'd been unable to contain himself since the party began. It was near ending and all he did was scream, especially when some of the gifts were opened. "I'm sorry. It's all just overwhelming. This boy's a high roller."
"Shut it. He's opening our gift TJ," Mimi said with a grin.
"Ah, this is kind of small." Fire said after revealing the small gift box. He opened it and saw a jewellery box. "Ah, better be diamonds cause that's my favourite possessions."
He revealed a diamond chain engraved 'Lil Flame' and already knew who it was from. He still showed it to the guests, some of his school mates gasping. "I don't even need to guess who it's from. Thanks Mimi and the twin, appreciate it."
"Pleasure ma," TJ shouted. He replied with a middle finger. There was also a gold band that had Fire engraved on the inside in small italics.
"So you're not broke after all," Fire said while looking at TJ who nodded. He had to call in a favour with his mom but Fire didn't have to know that. "Anything for you ma," he mouthed to Fire who smiled.
"That's bout it. No offense but adults aside, I don't think there's any gift that can top that. We got an after party at my place after this where I'll be opening an Instagram account. Anyway, it's gonna be lit but not everybody's invited. I'm saying this to you dad!" Fire said and everyone laughed. "At who's house?" his father countered with a smile. The boy was crazy. "DJ, play that music. Me and my baby wanna dance!" Fire while winking at Sage who smiled. Aly wondered what was going on between the two and whether Fire had moved on so fast from her. She thought they'd have a chance before the party but was sceptical during it. Music played, soft jazz which they performed a beautiful piece for. April was a proud mother who cried while her husband kissed her cheek. They couldn't believe how fast their first born had grown. The lights had been dimmed with the spotlight on the couple. After they're part, more lively music was played and even the adults joined it. It was overall a great party.
"You want him, don't you?" Jamie asked TJ who nodded. It was pretty obvious now and the little interaction even had Fire's parents betting on it. "You've never bought me diamonds and he's not even yours yet."
" I'm not doing this with you," TJ said. Fire came to them before Jamie could reply who's nose flared at the boy's presence. "Mama"
"Stop with that. You coming to the pool party? It's limited entry." Fire said while giving him the ticket. He was handing them out personally. "Wouldn't miss it for the world. Do I bring a date?"
"You can bring Yeon. It's only for people I know personally and we school together so..." he shrugged.
"Maybe because you want him," Jamie muttered. Fire chuckled. "If I wanted him, he'd be mine. Fix your tiara princess, it's bout to fall."
With that said, he walked to other people which he knew. "Time for us to get out of here."
He searched for his sister and date then upon finding them, left. The pool party was in two hours so they had time to cool off and shower again.
"How was it? Did he like the gift? That's like a mini me so I'm sure he did," Minnie blabbed when her son arrived. She was in his room waiting for him to come and tell her all about it. "He did, thanks mom."
"Did your sister bring someone?" Minnie asked when she heard laughter coming from somewhere in the house. TJ nodded. "I'm going to introduce myself. When I'm a meeting this boy who has you spending so much money on someone else?"
"Soon mom. Soon."
