Congrats for reaching this far—until the very last chapter of my story.
I just want to say thank you for staying with me and for reading until the end. I truly appreciate it.
I also want to give myself a little pat on the head for not giving up on this story, even if it took me so long to finish. Imagine—I started writing this back in 2021, and I just finished it in 2025. Almost four years.
So, why did it take me so long to finish, when only the epilogue was left? Yes, epilogue na lang ang kulang.
Because it needed revision.
Not a major one, but it needed to be polished—for me haha. Kailangan kong i-align ang timeline ni Issabela sa timeline ni Elein.
That process took years.
And while revising, I was also struggling. I lost the spark of being a writer. I doubted myself. I questioned whether I was even a good writer at all.
My mental health wasn't stable, so I stopped. It made me stop.
Huminto ako. Huminga. Hinanap ang sarili. At paunti-unti, kahit mabagal, sinubukan ko pa rin na bumalik sa pagsusulat. At ngayon, I finally finished it.
So thank you for staying. Thank you so much.
A small letter for you,
I know you've been through a lot, but look at you—you're still here, still standing. Thank you for being brave enough to keep moving forward, even when it was hard. Thank you for staying strong through the ups and downs. Thank you for continuing to fight.
Thank you.
Padayon!
I don't know if this story holds any lesson, but I hope it does. I'm sorry if there were parts you didn't like—if some dialogues fell short, or if I failed to narrate the scenes with enough detail. I'm really sorry po.
But once again, I'm glad we both finished this journey together. Thank you so much.
love,
