*Adam's POV*

After we had acknowledged the car wasn't going to move again we had pushed it down the road to her house and tried to sort it out.

First she took a look and I could tell she didn't have any more idea what she was doing than I did, I thought it was sweet of her to try anyway. After she was absolutely sure she had no idea what was wrong I took a look too but it didn't take long before I gave up, I didn't know the first thing about cars. We walked up the path to her house and she unlocked the front door.

I was meant to be leaving her here now and heading back home but that clearly wasn't going to happen any time soon. She turned back to look at me and I giggled, neither of us had any idea what we were going to do now. How long did we have together?

*Lily's POV*

I was enjoying every minute of time right now with Adam as I had expected him to be gone by now. I really didn't want him to go and I felt bad for being so happy his car had broken down. I made us both a cup of tea whilst I told him to sit down. I could hear him talking, I assumed he was on the phone to someone.

After a while he came into the kitchen to talk to me. He came into the room silently and I jumped when I saw him, quickly followed by a blush when I realised how stupid that looked. He just chuckled adorably.

'I just called the closest garage, the soonest they can fix my car is Tuesday,' he said the words in a regretful voice but i swear he was smiling.

'Oh, well...' i didn't know what to say, I looked at him and smiled 'If you need to stay a few days that's okay, I have nothing planned,'

He looked up and smiled.

'Thankyou, i mean, if it's a problem having me here it's okay, i can-'

'It's okay, really.' I cut him off to tell him i really didn't mind him staying, I tried to not let on quite how much I wanted him not to leave.

'Thankyou again,' he said with a nervous laugh as he looked down.

*Adam's POV*

I went to my car to get the overnight bag I still had from the last night of the tour. I couldn't stop smiling, I was so happy I didn't have to leave her quite yet.

When I got back inside Lily had a big pile of blankets and pillows and she was heading for the stairs. I closed the door behind me and she jumped, clearly she hadn't seen me come in. She moved the blankets out of the way of her eyes and looked at me giggling and smiling.

'Do you want some help?' I asked, the pile was higher than her head and she was heading more for the wall next to the stairs than the stairs.

'Um, yeah thanks,' she replied. I hung my bag over my shoulder so my hands were free and took some of the blankets. I followed her up the stairs and down a small hall and into a room.

The room was fairly plain with a double bed, a desk and a small bookcase.

'Okay, so this is the guest bedroom, you can sleep here if that's okay?' she said it like a question so I nodded my head and smiled reassuringly at her. She smiled back and we both put the blankets down on the bed.

She gave me a tour of the house after that. First she showed me upstairs, she had a small bathroom just down the hall from the room I was staying in. Then she took me through a Little on suite into her room. Her room had a big double bed with pink duvet covers and there was a big desk in the corner covered in hundreds of sheets of paper and there was a laptop sitting somewhere underneath all the paper.

She quickly stumbled around the room picking up random things and items of clothing from around the room and on her bed and stuffing them in her wardrobe. She obviously hadn't been expecting visitors, she looked embarrassed so I pretended I hadn't noticed and walked over to the table to get a better look at the sheets of paper.

There were lots of sheet music all around the table and sheets of what I assumed were lyrics with bits rubbed out and lines scoring out chunks of writing.

*Lily's POV*

'Hey, what's this?' Adam asked. I looked up to see him holding up some of the sheets of music I had written.

'Oh, that's nothing,' I said, hating the blush that filled my cheeks as I looked down and tried to close the door on my wardrobe.

He was silent for a minute and then he came over to me.

'You know, these are really good Lily,' he said, he seemed to genuinely mean it so I looked up at him.

'Thanks, but not really, It's just stuff I think of,' I said, I kept looking at him to check to see if he was lying. No one had ever seen these before, I really didn't think of them as anything special.

'Some of these are amazing!' he said as he smiled at me and went back to the table to look at some more sheets. His smile widened as he read more of it and he brought some more sheets over to me.

We sat on the edge of my bed as he read over page after page of lyrics and melodys. Some were just little phrases I thought of and others were long songs I had thought up when I was feeling down.

He turned to me and I looked up from the paper and blushed at the smile on his face.

'Lily, these are really good! I really mean it, they're great!' He said with a big smile on his face. He leaned over to hug me and got up off the bed.

I gave him a tour of the rest of the house and then we sat and drunk our tea I made earlier.
