Beautiful Mystery

*Adam's POV*

I woke up and looked out my hotel window, it was still pitch black. Stupid insomnia. I knew I wasn't going to get any more sleep so I got out of bed and got dressed. I was staying at a hotel not far from the hospital, I didn't want to go and sleep back at home because it was an hour away and I wanted to spend as much time at the hospital as possible. The only problem with that was it meant there was practically nowhere else to go besides the hospital. I decided to go for a walk outside the hotel.

I knew it was probably creepy, me just turning up and talking to her, giving her flowers, but I couldn't seem to walk away. When she had been taken into hospital I hadn't even thought about whether or not to come, I just did. Now I was beginning to think it had been a bad idea.

I mean, I wanted to be here, I just had no idea what my intentions were. Guess we'll just have to find out. I felt guilty for even thinking this, but I secretly wished they would keep her in hospital, for just a few more days, so I could figure out what to do or at least just spend more time with her. I wondered if she liked me as much as I liked her.

*Lily's POV*

I coudn't get to sleep. My brain wouldn't stop thinking! It was all I could do not to scream out to everyone that Adam Young had visited me! I was just staring up at the ceiling, grinning stupidly and blushing to myself.

Eventually I told myself I had to shut my thoughts up and go to sleep. If Adam was going to come and see me tomorrow I wanted to at least be awake. I fell asleep thinking about the fact that Adam would be here again soon and wondering if he could tell how much I liked him.
