*Lily's POV*

What felt like minutes had really been nearly two and a half hours when we pulled into my street.

I pointed to my small little house and Adam parked the car. He came round and opened my door for me and then I led him up to my door.

I searched around in my bag for at least 5 minutes trying to find my keys. Eventually I found them all tangled up with my headphones. When I finally opened the door I took Adam through to the living room.

My whole house was a mess, I hadn't exactly been expecting visitors, especially not adam!

I tidied around a bit but eventually just sat down on the sofa next to Adam and apologised for the mess.

'Do you want a drink or something to eat?' I asked, feeling really hungry myself so hoping he would say yes.

'Yes, that would be great thanks!' He said smiling.

We walked through to the tiny kitchen and I started searching through the cupboards for something to eat. I hadn't been home for four days so there wasn't much in besides stale bread and out of date milk. After looking through the whole kitchen twice I decided to break the news to Adam.

'I kind of have no food,' I said with a sheepish grin at him.

'That's okay, I'm not that hungry,'

His stomach rumbled and he blushed bright red.

'You sure?' I asked with a giggle.

We got back in the car and searched around for somewhere with food. The first place we came across was this little seafood place called 'The Saltwater Room'.

'Is here okay?' I asked.

Adams stomach rumbled in response and this time mine joined in. We both laughed as Adam pulled in to park the car.

As we got out of the car It occurred to me I was still wearing Adams jumper, ah well, it was comfy and warm and it smelled like Adam, I wasn't complaining.

We walked up the small path to the door with both of out stomachs growling like crazy.

*Adam's POV*

I went up and payed for our meal whilst lily went to the bathroom.

I had had such a good time with her I couldn't believe I had to leave soon. I still hadn't thought of and groundbreaking ideas for why I might not have to go, I had been too busy having a good time with her.

I waited a couple of minutes for her to come out of the bathroom and then we headed back to my car.

'That was really nice, I had a really good time!' She said, smiling up at me with red cheeks.

'Me too, I really enjoyed it!' I replied smiling back.

I opened her car door and walked round to the drivers side.

'So, when do you need to go?' She asked, looking out the window.

'No particular time really,' I said, she seemed to relax a bit. 'Have you got any plans anytime soon?'

'No, not really,' she said.

We were silent for a couple of minutes.

'I've really enjoyed seeing you these last few days Lily,' I said, taking my eyes off the road to smile at her.

She smiled back at me and I found it hard to take my eyes off her to look back at the road.

'Me too! It's been great,' she said, 'I mead, besides the being in hospital part,' she said and I laughed, finally looking back at the road.

We were nearly back to her street when the car gradually got slower and grounded to a hault.
