Chapter Ten

Kimiko's POV

I stared at Yuuko, I'm well aware that these games changed people. I know it seems serious about the deaths but it's all an illusion. Those who 'died' are held back in the in the mansion's lower level because those still alive can roam the mansion.

They wouldn't want confusion. To see the person that got there head cut off eating ice cream or something without a care in the world. No that'd be weird because to them all they seem is you without your head walking about.

Families who have participated told their 'next' in line, when you go in the game your faces alter. It's up to your partner and enemies to figure out who you are. That's how it works discover who's who and eliminate them.

Now back to what I was saying, I stared at Yuuko with pleading eyes. Tears already forming at the rim, 'Don't walk away!' Was all I was shouting in my head. It was pretty clear that everyone here knew Yuuko, her 'secret' lover too.

I've been with her since birth I still know how she thinks, that's why when she ran up to me when I turned my back (A/N: Note the picture as a reference ~) here face softened, voice cracking a bit, "I missed you so much!" I couldn't help but make tint shade of pink.

I returned the hug, "I missed you too Yuu-chan." "I missed you Kimi-chan..." She trailed off on the hug. After she let go we apologized for the disturbance and finally sat down to eat. 'Subarashīdesu!*' I haven't seen so much food ever in my life! Not even my family banquets could come close!

I had the feeling I was being stared at, so I looked up. Almost everyone was glaring at Yuuko. What was it? Is it because she was so open about her affections? She just said she missed me. I looked at Rei and Nezumi they seemed completely fine. Eating without a care and conversating nicely.

After dinner was finished the same announcer from the admission center went to the podium, "Welcome contestants to Deadman Mansion! You have three more days until the Deadman Forest game actually begins. Within those days you are to train, get used to certain armor and relax. I advise to make the last day your relaxation day." He chuckled.

"You should all know that their are many twists within these games! So in case you don't I'll tell you:
-Your appearences alter
-No one is aloud in the lower levels of this mansion while the game is in action
-And last but not least, this is rare but, you may have more than one partner!" He finished and everyone look at a him funny.

"Yes you hear that, more than one! That is because you have to 'gift' and this proves your power as the strongest Forester out there! Three people teams means that one of them are programmed enemies do not get mistaken by their looks and or actions! The four people team is the most rare! Yes it will still be two-by-two pairs but one of you will have a three way connection if not then all of you! I hope you understand that you all must stay alive because if one dies all die!" He finished, I understood.

I looked around the room it seems everyone was nervous. "Contestant 27!" I snapped out of thought and looked at him, "Y-yes?" "Tell us what you think about this twist, you look the most relaxed." He tossed me a mic, which I had a struggle trying to catch, "I don't think it's so bad, as long as everyone can figure out who is who then we can win, we didn't get picked just because we're lower class we got picked because our records so don't be so quick to give up..." I trailed off at this point.

Everyone seemed genuinely impressed and all clapped as I tossed the mic back, "That is all. Now enjoy the rest of you're evening!" The butlers and maids opened the doors and before I could even get up I was tackled with request to be someone's partner, "It doesn't work that way guys." I said but no one would listen. Nezumi, Rei and Yuuko had to help me get out of that situation we all went to Rei's room since his was the furthest from mines, room 8.

"Thanks Rei. It's been a while since I've been over you haven't changed at all have you?" I asked as I saw his Tenkai Knights and Gaist Crusher posters near his desk. "Don't judge me..." He pouted as he signalled me to cuddle with him.

I layed back and he held my arm as he closed his eyes, "Still need someone to help put you to sleep?" I whispered as I petted him, "Only Kimiko I like your singing voice." He mumbled. I blushed a bit and he kiss my cheek so I kissed his forehead.

Nezumi decided join in on this and he held my other arm, "Still don't remember me?" He asked, I sadly shook my head, "Yuuko! Yuuko!" He shouted like a little kid. My eyes widened a bit, "Vampire servant Nezumi." I smiled to myself, "Yeah that was me!" He then blushed of embarrassment.

"Anyway could I get a chu** too?" He said like a little kid again, I sighed at his baby like behaviour. "Anything for you Nezu-kun." I cooed at him, instead of a kiss on the cheek or for head I gave him a slight peck on the lips. He blushed so hard and passed out, my face a small tint of pink giggled as I got up and laid them down, they instantly started to cuddle.

I now turned my attention to Yuuko who was now dozing off, I may be your secret lover, but I do not intend to leave these two alone. I kissed her forehead, and carried her to the couch, I played on the floor with pillows and a blanket. Sleep soon consumed consciousness...
