Today's the day. Ben thought. In a matter of hours he, Benjamin Florian Adams (A/N I just made up a last name), would be engaged to the love of his life. He rolled out of bed, walked to his drawer and picked out his favorite navy blue suit with his black button down shirt. He knew Mal loved him in black. He left a note to his parents that said: Hey mom and dad I went to pick up the ring at the jewelers and then I'm heading over to pick up Carlos to get everything ready. Dad can you come over to Queen Aurora and King Phillips castle at 5:00 to look over some things? And mom I told Mal that you wanted to spend the day with her and Evie. So take them shopping. That'll keep Evie out for hours. Love, Ben.
P.S make sure Mal doesn't leave. Ben whipped out his cell phone to call Evie. This phone call wasn't just about Mal's birthday he had something much bigger planned.

Doug wasn't actually going to be at the Tourney field but Jay was. I feel so devious maybe Mal was rubbing off on me. Ben shrugged the thought off. After Ben got the ring he headed over to get Carlos and they headed to Aurora and Phillips castle.
Meanwhile in Evie and Mal's dorm...
Evie dug through her closet vigorously. She quickly checked her watch. 1:45. I'm doomed. Finally she found a dress that she sewed back on the isle. It was a strapless dress with a high-low hemline, sweetheart neckline, AND it was her favorite shade of blue. She slipped it on and looked in the mirror. She hated to sound conceded but she looked gorgeous. She found her fanciest pair of casual sandals (A/N I know that sounds really weird), put them on and headed to the Tourney field.
Meanwhile in Beast and Belle's castle...
"Okay I just got off the phone with Evie she'll be here shortly. She said she had some business to take care of. So until then it's just you and me." Belle said walking into Ben's room where Mal was. "Great. Because I kinda wanted to talk to you." "Well sure you can. What about?" Belle asked sitting next to Mal. "Well Ben keeps asking me if I see a future for us and I do but I need to know if it's realistic, I need to know I'm not crazy. Am I?" "No honey of course you're not! Ben loves you more than anything, he talks about you all the time. Look I don't know if I'm supposed to tell you this but about 2 weeks before you came Ben started having these dreams. Dreaming that he was on the Isle of The Lost with a purple-haired girl and the girl asked him to save her. Now here you are." Belle gave Mal a reassuring look. "Ya know I had those dreams too about him and Auradon and at the time I thought coming here would be the worst thing that could possibly happen to me but like you said here I am. And now being with him I'm having these new dreams. Us, married with kids living in a little cottage in the woods. One big happy family. That's realistic right?" Mal was really having these dreams. She knew it was real. She just needed to hear it. Belle grabbed a scrapbook off Ben's shelf and handed it to Mal. She flipped through the pages. Our first date. My coronation. Celebratory dinner with my love. She's beautiful. I'm in love with her.
Her favorite page was the last one. It was a family portrait of Belle, Beast, and Ben. It read: Someday this will be us. One happy family. I love you Mal. "Is that all the confirmation you need?" It was. That was the signal that said Ben loved her as much as she loved him. She knew that he was the one. She would marry him one day. And she couldn't wait.
