Mal's POV
Great mother of Jesus nothing feels like this! Evie, Carlos, and Ben sat in the back with me while Jane drove and Jay sat in the passenger seat. I'd like to say I couldn't be happier to be in labor but let's be real the whole time I was screaming, "GET THESE THINGS OUT OF ME!!!!"
"Calm down Mal. Just breathe. We'll be there shortly." Evie tried to comfort me but it's kinda hard when I'm about to push two babies out of a coin sized hole. I squeezed Ben's hand so hard I think I broke it based on his squealing. Ben had called the hospital in advance so they had a wheel chair waiting when we got there. Since my contractions were already so close together I got a delivery room almost instantly. No one was allowed to be in here except Ben and I obviously which was nice. When I wasn't having contractions I was actually pretty calm.
"Okay Mal do you need anything else?" Ben asked after handing me my ice chips.
"No I'm okay-Ahhh!" Another contraction just hit. Okay these were starting to get annoying. The doctor came in a few minutes later with news I'd been dying to hear, "You're dialated to an 8 you should be ready to push in about 5 minutes." I let out a sigh of relief at that.
Surely enough Dr. Miller came back in and sat down in front of me. Thank goodness my doctor was a girl cause I don't need a guy all up in my southern hemisphere.
"Okay you ready Mal?" She asked. I gripped Ben's hand and nodded.
"On the count of three. 1....2....3 push!" I built up all of my strength and pushed as hard as I could.
For the next 20 minutes all I heard was "That a girl!" and "Almost there!" until I finally heard the loud wail of one of my babies.
"Okay we're gonna go ahead and get her cleaned off before the next one comes." Dr. Miller said handing Witney to one of the nurses.
When the time came I repeated the same actions and soon my baby boy was born. All these months of mood swings, and cravings, and pain were all worth it because I had my baby boy and my baby girl.
Evie's POV
We'd been sitting here for a couple of hours and I'm starting to get anxious. I wonder what gender it is. Mal and Ben are the only ones who know.
I looked over to Jay and he knew what I was thinking. "Don't be nervous. When you go into labor in a few months its definitely going to be painful but I'm gonna be right there."
I gave him a slightly reassured look and nodded. Ben walked out a few seconds later with the news that Mal had given birth.
"So wait Mal actually gave birth without like...killing you in the process." Jay interfered lightening the mood.
"Okay so can we go see her?" I asked ignoring Jay.
"Yea she's feeling great. She's a little agitated that she can't out of bed though so I'd be careful about what you say." Ben warned.
"Wow Mal agitated? Never." Jay muttered before I hit him in the stomach.
"Oh! I almost forgot! Only three at a time can come in. So Evie, Jay, and, Carlos you guys can come back first and then Abby, Chad, and Audrey. Then the parents have to have 1 hour of alone time before everyone can come in at the same time. Oh shoot! I forgot to call my parents! I'm dead!"
Ben started to freak out but I brought him back to the matter at hand.
"Ben relax I'll call your parents you just take us to Mal's room." We started to head off down the hall as I called Belle. She said they'd be on their way as soon as they could. When we got to Mal's room Ben walked off towards the nursery.
"Ben what are you doing?" I called after him.
"Don't worry about it just go ahead and go in." He called back and continued walking. We all walked in the room and seen Mal laying in the hospital bed glistened in sweat holding her baby, a type of creature she used to despise back on the isle.
"Hi!" She squeaked cheerier than she should have been.
"So....what do we got?" Jay asked looking at the bundle in Mal's arms.
"Well...we have a girl! I'm not telling you the full name until Ben gets back." I silently cheered at the fact it was a girl. I handed out my hand to Jay and he placed the $20 in it.
"Do any of you wanna hold her?" Mal suggested looking at all of us.
"Can I hold her?" Carlos piped up walking to Mal's bedside.
"Absolutely!" Mal chirped handing Witney over to Carlos.
Carlos' POV (YAY!!)
I looked down at the infant in my arms and I smiled. She looked like her mother in every way. Same beautiful green eyes, stunning bone structure, and that cute little nose that had always been my favorite feature of Mal's, I knew as she started to get older she'd inherit Ben's features as well but I didn't want her to. Not yet at least.
"She's perfect." I whispered glancing up at Mal.
"My turn! My turn!" Evie started getting all grabby. I carefully handed Witney to her and she went nuts. After that we all just passed her around until Ben got back. When he walked in I'd never been more confused in my life.
No one's POV
Ben walked in with the second baby and everyone's jaws dropped.
"I could've sworn Mal was only pregnant with one baby." Carlos said totally confused by the situation.
"Surprise." Mal said as enthusiastically as she could.
"We had twins."
"Ow." Evie whined hoping the same thing didn't happen to her. Soon one of the nurses walked in with some paperwork.
"Hi I'm Angela I'll be your nurse for the next couple of days. First things first we need the mom and dad to sign the birth certificates. Have we picked out names?" She asked handing Mal and Ben the papers.
"Yes. Witney Bree Evelyn Adams and Clark Brody Adams." They both signed the paper and handed it to the nurse. Evie felt a tear come to her eye as she heard Mal had named her daughter after her.
"Okay now we noticed Clark is having some problems keeping his oxegen up probably nothing serious but we might have to keep him a few days longer than Witney so we just wanted you to know." Angela gathered her papers and walked back out.
Mal and Ben knew something like this was bound to happen but they were just glad they finally had their babies and were about to begin a new chapter of their story and had their friends to experience it with.
Meanwhile on The Isle of the Lost
"Please welcome to this world Clark and Witney Adams." Maleficent read from the celebratory hand out in fury.
She slammed it down and boomed with her terrifying voice, "I WILL GET THOSE KIDS!!!"
