Ben's POV
"And this is mommy getting ready for our date tonight." I said into the camera pointing it at Mal. She finally let me start filming her because she insisted that we make "video diaries" for the kids. I walked into the bedroom, and into the joining room that is going to be the nursery. "And this is going to be your room! Now I know what you're thinking, 'Hey paps we deserve walls.' But I'm working on it. Jay, Carlos, and Chad are even helping. So it'll be all ready for when you get here." We had told everyone a couple of days ago and everyone was pretty happy except Evie she was a little upset at first because Mal didnt tell her sooner but she's okay now. I shut off the camera when I heard Mal crying. I peeked into the bathroom where she was and seen her in a ball sobbing.
"Mal, what's wrong now?" Mal has been having mood swings for the past couple of days and now I expected for her to be upset over something stupid but I'd always comfort her.
She seemed hesitant at first but when she gained her sanity she said, "Ben...I just got off the phone with Mom (Belle)...Bella was in a car accident."
My heart sank at the news that my sister had been hurt. I remember the day we adopted her.

Ben's POV
"Hurry up sweetheart we're going to be late to the adoption center!" My mom yelled from downstairs. I quickly shut down my laptop and ran down to the living room where my mom and dad were waiting for me. The whole ride there I stared out the window and fantasized about what my new sibling would be like. I hoped I got a sister. When we finally arrived I was the 1st one out of the car. Mom and dad tried to catch up to me but I was already at the front door. I stopped to wait for them tapping my foot impatiently. We all walked in together waiting to meet the newest addition to our family. A couple of minutes later a petite middle aged woman came out with a girl a couple of years younger than me with a suitcase. She had some of the same features as I did. Long blonde hair tied up into a ponytail, green eyes, about 4'9", and wearing an Auradon Knights t-shirt with acid washed jeans. My kind of sister. "Hi I'm Bella!" She chirped shaking my hand. I knew from that day on we'd be closer than any brother and sister have been before.

Ben's POV
I just stood there in shock letting the tears roll down my face. Mal got up from her spot to come hug me. I cried into her shoulder for what felt like forever. When I was stable enough to say something I asked, "When can we go see her?"
"Today if you want. She's at the Arendalle hospital." She said trying to calm herself down as well. I didn't even respond I just grabbed my keys and pulled Mal out the door. I couldn't imagine how much pain Bella was in right now. I shivered at the thought. She needed her big brother.
I drove so fast we were there in a matter of 30 minutes. Mal slowed us down a little bit but who could blame her she's pregnant and she's getting pretty big too. I seen mom and dad as soon as we entered the hospital. "Oh honey! We're so sorry!" Mom squeezed me and Mal. We all went to sit down when a nurse called into the waiting room, "Family of Bella Adams."
Mom and dad quickly walked over to the nurse while I helped Mal up. As I was helping her I seen the nurse say something apparently devasting because my mom and dad drooped their heads down. My mom slowly nodded and walked back over to us.
"Is she okay?" I whispered clutching Mal to my side for support.
"Well...the doctors said that she has two broken ribs which she can easily recover from, a broken ankle, and a torn ACL." Mom explained.
"So she's gonna be fine?" I assumed with relief.
"Not exactly. They also said she suffered some head trauma. Nothing serious. No memory loss. But she's slipped into a coma." I felt my lungs collapse as if there was no more air in them.
"Is there anything we can do to bring her out of it?" Mal chimed in.
"The doctor said that maybe we could go in two at a time to try to get her to come to." Dad replied which I think is the first time he's said anything since we got here.
"Guys I think I wanna go in by myself. I am the big brother." I said pulling myself together.
"Of course. I'll go in with Evie. Her, Jay, Carlos, Chad, and Audrey are on their way now." Mal said rubbing my back.
"Okay what room is she in?" I asked looking at mom.
"327 on the second floor." Mom said.
"Okay I'll be back in a bit. Bye babe." I said giving Mal a peck on the cheek and heading for the elevator.
I found Bella's room and slowly walked in. She didn't even look like herself. She had bruises all over face and arms. She also had a few bloody scars. One on her shoulder, one on her leg, and the last one was the worst, it was on her forehead the blood was dry now cause they stitched it up but it looked like a pretty deep cut.
(Get ready for the feels)
I sat down beside her bed and tightly squeezed her hand. I looked at her with tearful eyes and said, "Bella I know you can't hear me but I just want you to know that I'm here and I'm gonna stay with you until you get better...Mom said that you'll be as good as new in a few weeks...physically anyways. You have no idea how hard it is for me to see you like this. I remember when you were little and you'd dress up in mom's ball gown and tiara and you'd make me dance with you...Look I know since Mal came into my life I haven't really been there for you but I promise now I will be...We both will. And you're gonna be an aunt. I know you'll be a great one. Now there's a fleet full of people out there that love you so I gotta go but before I do I want to tell you that you're the greatest sister in the world and you have a lot of people that really love you including me. So you can't leave or the earth would be losing a brilliant, beautiful, kind, loyal young lady that has a very bright future ahead of her. I love you Bella." I leaned down and kissed her forehead where her scar is and walked out. Everyone was there when I got downstairs. Next was mom and dad, then Mal and Evie, Carlos and Jay, and last was Chad and Audrey. Every visit was agonizing I just wanted to go in there and be with my sister. I'd been at the hospital 4 hours till i fell asleep. Mom woke me up awhile later and told me to go home. I looked over and seen Mal curled up in the chair with her hands resting on her stomach sleeping. I giggled and gently shook Mal and told her it was time to leave. The whole drive home was silent until Mal piped up with, "Hey so Evie asked me after you fell asleep if we would come to Jay's birthday party she said that they needed to tell us something." I looked at her like she was nuts. "Of course we're going." I stated.
We went to bed exhausted that night but I stayed awake thinking about how things would really be after the twins were born. Would I be able to be there for Bella? I knew things were going to change I just didn't know if I wanted them to.
Heyyyyy sorry feeling smirky today. Anyway who else got hit right in the feels with that Ben and Bella scene? Just me? Okay well then you have no soul.
