"Why did you never tell me?" Bella asked as we were sat on my bed.

"Because I thought that if I told you, you would only use me."

"I understand why it's just... Zoella, Daisy! How could you hold something like that in?"

"Well I didn't know she was famous when I met her so I just see her as a normal person. I mean yeah, it's cool that I have this big mansion and tons of money but I still see Zoe and Alfie as normal people."

"I guess but oh my God, I've wanted to meet Zoe for like ever."

"Want a signed Girl Online?" I smirk.

"No way! Seriously?"

"She's my mum, it's easy." I say, walking out the door and gesturing for her to follow me downstairs.

"Hey Zo!"

"Yeah, Dais?"

"Can Bella have a signed copy of your book?"

"Sure!"

I turned round to look at Bella, who was totally fangirling. Zoe signed the book in front of us and handed it to Bella, who grinned then burst into tears.

Zoe went round the table to hug her while I just sat there feeling awkward. It was easier once Bella had calmed down and we all sat down and ate tea together.

"It's just strange," Bella said, halfway through eating a ham sandwich. "I've been watching you on YouTube and reading your blog for over a year now and by chance I get invited over a friends house whose mum happens to be Zoella for God's sake and then I find myself eating tea with her. Insane."

Zoe laughed. "Wanna meet Nala?"

"Sure."

Whilst Zoe went to get Nala from upstairs, my phone pinged in my pocket. I fished it out and read the message.

I am coming for you Daisy. I know where you live. Watch your back or you'll regret it.

I had been getting this kind of message, from the same number, for about a week now. They didn't scare me, in fact I found them rather funny. I knew they were nothing to worry about and was just a silly prank so I dismissed them each time and didn't tell anybody about them.

-

Bella left at around six o'clock, saying that her mum wanted her home for dinner.

"Bella was really nice." Zoe said over dinner. "Maybe she could sleep over next time."

"That would be the best, Zoe! Thank you!"

We spent the rest of the evening in my favourite way, cuddled up on the sofa with Zoe and Nala, under a blanket with a box of chocolates whilst watching Pretty Little Liars on Netflix. The only thing that was missing was Alfie, who wasn't here again. Tonight he was with "Caspar" but I knew for a fact that Caspar was in South Africa. I mean, I wasn't that clever but I wasn't completely stupid either. I knew they were lying to me and I made it my mission to find out why.

-

The next bit of research involved my iMac. After breakfast the following day, I sat on my bed with it and googled 'Zalfie'. Benefits of having famous parents: you can look for answers on google. However, to my dismay, the most recent thing about Zalfie was when they bought this house. Frustrated, I banged my hand against the keyboard.

"Homework, Daisy?"

"Something like that, yeah." I replied, exiting the browser in case she came to sat next to me. I hated lying to her, but if she wasn't going to tell me what was going on then I was going to snoop a bit wasn't I?

"Do you want me to help you with it?"

"No, don't worry Zoe. I'll get my teacher to go over it with me on Monday."

"Oh okay. Are you almost all caught up now?"

"Yeah but it's still hard and I still feel so stupid compared to everyone else."

"You're not stupid, Daisy. You're bright but haven't been able to show your full potential yet."

"Thanks mum."

She looked taken aback but also pleased. "I love you so much Daisy."

"I love you too."

-

I heard my phone ringing downstairs and had to run to get it in time. Both Zoe and Alfie were out, Zoe out for lunch with Tanya who was visiting Brighton and Alfie was God knows where, I hardly see him these days, it's like he's moved out.

"Hello?" I answered as the caller ID was blocked.

"We're coming to get you. You may think this is just a joke but it really isn't. Watch your back Daisy Jane Rowland."

They hung up straight afterwards.

-

"Daisy!" Zoe shouted up the stairs for me.

"Yeah?"

"Can you do me a favour please."

"Sure, what is it?"

"We've run out of milk, can you nip to the shop and buy some more please?"

"Okay sure!" I pull on my Nike air maxes and run downstairs where I find Zoe in the kitchen.

"Here's £5, you can get yourself some sweets or something if you want."

"Thanks, I'll see you in a bit."

"Keep your phone on!"

"Will do, love you."

The shop was only a short walk away but I couldn't walk anywhere on my own without music. Today, I decided to go the back route which was usually quicker but Zoe didn't like me going this way as it had two alleyways.

I was halfway down the first one when I heard voices behind me but they were two quiet to understand what they were saying. Suddenly there was an arm round my waist and one covering my mouth and I was picked up, carried to the end of the alleyway and shoved into the boot of a car.

"Struggle, and we'll kill you." Said a familiar voice as she shoved something in my mouth and tied it round the back of my head. I whimpered, unable to speak or move.

"And I'll take this." They took my phone out of my pocket and threw it on the floor as hard as they could. I felt like crying as I saw my phone lying on the pavement bent and smashed and felt even worse when I thought about Zoe. She'll be worried sick.

"Now stay like that until we get to where we're going or you'll be punished." The girl says venomously and as she shuts the boot door, her mask falls to one side and she tries to cover it before I notice. But I do notice and immediately feel sick as I recognise the face.

Bella.

[an: dun dun dun, where are they taking her and who's Bella's accomplice?
