When I went back to school, about a week after I came out of hospital, I was the talk of the school.

"Where did you go when you went missing?"

"Did you run away?"

"Who took you?"

By lunchtime I was close to losing my temper. Luckily I had my friends there to support me but I was close to snapping.

"Just ignore it all, they're just jealous of you." Lauren says.

"Yeah they just have nothing else to do with their lives Dais, I'm so glad you're back though." Katie added.

"Yeah we missed you!"

"Aw thanks girls, you'll have to come round mine at some point and we can have a girly sleepover!" I suggested.

"Yeah sounds great! Just let us know when, put it on the group iMessage."

A receptionist from the school office came up to our table "Hi Daisy, your mum's at the office to pick you up."

I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "Really? Is something wrong?"

"I don't know, come with me to see her."

"Okay, see you later girls."

They all said bye in return and I followed the receptionist to the office where Zoe was waiting for me.

"Mum? Is something wrong?"

"No you've just got a dentist appointment, did I forget to tell you?"

"Yeah but it's okay"

I signed myself out then got into the car to find Alfie in the drivers seat.

"Hey Alf."

"Hi littler one, ready for the dentist? How was school?"

"It was okay, just a bit hard."

However after driving for more than half an hour I knew we weren't going to the dentist but neither Zoe or Alfie would tell me where we were going. I looked out the window to try and work it out for myself but as I had never left Brighton before I had absolutely no idea where we were going. I decided to just take a nap instead.

"Dais, we're here!" I woke up and looked out the window, we were at Gatwick airport.

"Erm why are we at the airport?"

"We're going on holiday!" Alfie said, sounding excited.

"Really?" I asked with a huge smile on my face. I had never been on holiday before. "Where?"

"Mykonos in Greece, it's mine and Alf's favourite holiday place and we wanted to take you there as a treat after everything that has been happening in your life recently, you deserve it." Zoe replies.

"Thank you so much! You're the best parents ever!"

However when we started going through security I began to feel extremely anxious, I had never been on a plane before and didn't know what to expect. Luckily I had Zoe there with me as she understood how I was feeling. After we got through security we looked around duty free and then sat in the departures lounge.

"I got you some new clothes, you're gonna look so cute!"

"This top is new isn't it?" I was lucky Zoe had thought to bring a spare set of clothes in the car instead of putting all of them in the suitcase because otherwise I would be flying in my uniform. I had got changed in the toilet before the security bit and Alfie ran my uniform out to the car.

After what seemed like forever, we were finally boarding the plane, I was on the window seat next to Zoe and Alfie was on the aisle seat. We took loads of selfies on the plane and I made a mental note to upload them to my Instagram account when we got Wi-Fi later. Zoe had been great when it came to my carry on bag, I had lots of sweets and snacks, kalms tablets in case I got anxious, headphones, magazines, a book and an eye mask in case I wanted to sleep. Eventually I did just that, listening to the Spotify playlist I had made in the car on the way here with my head against Zoe's shoulder.

"Daisy, wake up we need to put your seatbelt back on."

"Why?"

"We're here! We're just about to land, put your seatbelt on and suck on this sweet, it'll help your ears."

We claimed our suitcases then had to wait for a taxi to take us to the resort. It was quite late English time so by the time we got there I was ready to go to sleep.
