I get home to a heavy cloud of smoke one spring day, after a grueling eight hours at school. I look around to see where it is coming from, and as I do my phone goes off. I read the screen "MIDNIGHT HELP ME, IM TRAPPED UNDER A FALLEN TREE" I take in a deep breath and realize that my wooded land is on fire. Oh shit, I think as I take off dropping everything, except for my phone. I run out into the smoke and feel someone grab my arm. "Let go of me, I have to save Jynx." I yell as I wrench my arm from the unknown person and sprint full speed dodging falling debris. "JYNX...JYNX" I yell, then I hear "MIDNIGHT...MIDNIGHT is that you?" That's my Jynx alright. "HOLD ON ILL BE THERE" I yell as I run towards the voice. I stop and see a tree has pinned Jynx by the leg. "It'll be ok, I'll get you out!" I say as I put all my strength into pulling the tree off Jynx. I give it all I've got and feel my muscles tearing, and I just power through it. I pick Jynx up and take off running. "SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!" I yell as I feel hot debris rain down from above burning the tips of my hair, and the back of my neck. "You ok Jynx?" I ask as I collapse with her on my back. "Yeah, I'm ok, what about you?" Jynx replies. I roll over and look at her,"I've been better, but at least I've still got you." I say looking into her baby blue eyes. I joke around,"I told you that one person could never finish a pound in half an hour." "Hay, I almost did...I just needed a little more practice," she replies laughing. "Yeah yeah, whatever you say. I still think that you need some help." I cough out. "Are you ok?" Jynx asks as she holds herself off my chest. "I...I just need...some rest..." I cough trying to finish my sentence. "NO, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DIE ON ME!" Jynx yells as firemen rush to our aid. I look through blurred vision as one grabs Jynx, and tries to pull her off of me. "NO! NO ONE IS TAKING MY JYNX FROM ME!" I yell as I throw myself up wrapping my burned and bloodied body around her. I feel her hold me tight as our lips meet. What feels like an eternity only lasted a few short moments, then I feel a wet spot on my pants realizing what that means. "Babe, so you do really feel the same about me?" I ask as the firemen grab both of us up, and haul us to the Ambulance. I look at her baby blue eyes as she looks into my cat green eyes, and I know what she is thinking.
I get up a week later and see Jynx sitting at the foot of my bed wrapped in one of my sheets. She looks at me and then at the bed as she lays down beside me. "Are you ok Jynx?" I ask looking at her, and after a split second of looking at her I grab her and pull her close. "Do you love me?" Jynx asks as I wrap her in my body. I pause a moment out of sheer shock. She just asked me a question that I thought she never would have to ask. "Jynx, I love you with all my heart. I would do anything for you." She stops kissing me when my mom walks in to check on us. "Is everything alright?" My mom asks. "Everything is just fine mom." I reply. "Ok. Just wanted to check in." She says and walks away. Jynx looks at me then runs her hand up my bare chest,"I can't wait till school is over," Jynx says. I pull her tight, feeling her body meld with mine. "Ok so we have the house to ourselves," I say as I take off my shirt and hug Jynx from behind. Just then I hear a knock at the door. I grab my Winchester pocket knife, and my Smith&Weston .45 pistol. I look down the sights and see who is at the door. I open the door when I see the gang has arrived. My gang, so to speak, is comprised of my best friend Clay, his girlfriend Brittany, my ex girlfriend Renee, and her boy friend Danny. "Sup guys, come on in, and take a seat. Sorry about the gun, I just woke up." I say as they pass me. "Yeah...just woke up about about an hour ago." Clay teases pointing to my shorts, and then at Jynx. "Shut up Clay, I've got the gun, and a knife." I laugh putting him in a knife, gun lock.
I walk into the living room to see Renee and Danny making out on the couch. I look at Jynx who blushes and walks over. She takes my hand and I wrap my free arm around her, holding her hand in mine, and kiss her, but it may have been a mistake. I see a spot on my white skinny jeans get wet. Oops I think as I press my legs into hers picking her up and taking her to my room. "I'm so sorry, baby." I apologize. I say as I barely try, more down there to tease her than to help her, I pull with my teeth till the jeans come off. Then I push her on the bed, spread her legs, and proceed to eat her out. I stop mine, and stem hers with a kiss that I only use on girls that I truly love, which means I've only used it on two others. She pulls back looking at my teary smile. She moves her head onto my chest not moving for a few minutes, but when she moves, she moves.
We hear a loud vehicle outside, and I spring into action. I grab my lucky pistol, and my knife. Clay pulls a knife out of his combat boot. I ready my weapon, but its in vain. They flash bang us, sending me into my other personality, making me forget the fight, but Clay said that it was awesome.
Clay's POV
"Damn they flashed us," I think to myself. I look up in time to see Phillip ripping apart man after man, not even skipping a beat. This means that he has lost control, and Midnight Monstrosity has taken over. "SHIT!" I yell as I duck for cover, just dodging a flying man, who was thrown by Phillip. "Duck, Dodge, Duck" keeps going through my head as man after man is thrown at me. Either he will take them all out, or he will be overwhelmed, either way I cannot let that happen. I run in, stabbing one person, slashing two, and slitting three guy's throats. I throw one guy over my shoulder, just in time to use him as a human shield from a guy with a machete. I drop to the ground as Phillip comes barreling from his group into mine. Then the fight just ends, they all pull back. I don't like the way they did it though, it's like they knew. I guess Brianna, Phillip's ex girlfriend, called them on us. She is the only one who knew about this other than Lakesiders.
Phillip's POV
I look around as bodies lie dead on my floor. I walk into my room, and in a box that I keep hidden I pull out a ton of money. This all equals ten million dollars. "Ok, let's leave this place behind, we've got enough money, and gas to get clear of here." I say looking at Jynx and the others. I pull out a road map of the US out of the box. "Ok, we are here." I say pointing to a tiny dot just above Memphis TN. "So we need to get to Colorado. Does anyone have any objections with taking the direct route, and driving I40 the whole way?" I say looking around at everyone, trying to ignore Renee's half naked ass on the hood of my 69 Dodge Challenger. I climb in signaling to the others to load up and leave this place behind.
