Not a complete screw up

I just need some time

I woke up and I wasn't in my room I was in what looks like a white room with pictures of brain's and a bed that looks like the one in hospitals and I started to think was I in a hospital? And while I was trying to figure out where I was I saw darren in the chair and was about to say something but the doctor came in.

"Hi I'm Mr . Jones and you've had quite a concussion and have been out for a day" the doctor Mr. Jones said.

"A day"? I asked confused.

"Yes so can you tell me what happened to you that caused your injury do you remember?" The asked andi just looked over at darren and thought about how i want to tell the doctor what happened but i just couldn't.

"Um no i can't really remember what happened" I lied to the doctor while he just nodded his head.

"Ok well if you do remember just let me know and if you need anything juast the button on the remote" Mr. Jones said pointing to the remote laying next to me.

"What i need is to go home" i said getting irritated by the smell of the hospitals it makes me feel sick.

"You need to wait a couple of hours then you can go" Mr. Jones told me but I'm fine i don't know why i have to wait more hours.

"Ok" i said waiting on the doctor to leave.

"Alright see you later" Mr. Jones said before he left the room and as soon as he did darren jumped out of his seat and came over to me.

"Shana I'm reall----"

"No you did this to me" i said cutting darren off of one of his I'm sorry speeches.

"I'm sorry" darren said trying to grab my hand but i moved it away from him I don't want his comfort anymore.

"You said that yesterday and you always say that except now I'm in the hospital! I said getting angry at him apologizing.

"I know-----" darren tryed to say but once again i stopped him.

"No is this gonna be an everyday thing you hitting me? I asked but i didn't exactly want an answer and what darren said next just was the last straw.

"No I just lost control" darren said and i just had to stop this between us.

"You always lose control and you know what darren i just think me and you need some time apart" i told him when i should of said it's over.

"No I'm sorry it won't happen again" darren begged me but I just looked away from him.

"You always say that" i told him before the door opened revealing candice.

"Omg shana are you ok"?candice asked running to the side of my bed.

"Yeah" i said looking away from her worried face.

"Who did this to you?" candice asked Before looking at darren. "You little-------" candice tryed to say but i cut her off.

"No its ok me and him are taking a break" i tried to calm down candice but failed.

"No its over between you two now" candice nearly yelled.

"It's her decision do you want it to be over between me and you"? Darren asked looking at me.

"Well do you"? Candice asked.

"I-------" I was about to say something but darren cut me off.

"It's ok i know you do I'll just give you time" darren said looking away from me.

" You need to leave" candice spat at him"

"I am bye shana" darren said before he walked out the door.

"This can't keep happening to you" candice said crying.

"Yeah I know" i told candice hugging her.

"What if next time its serious"? Candice asked pulking away from the hug.

"Thats why I'm taking a break from him" i told candice but even i know thats a stupid thing to do when i should just break up with him.

"Why do you keep going back to him?" Candice said and even i don't know the answer.

"I don't know" i said.

"Well someone at school was worried about you and they wanred to come and see you." Candice said now smiling.

"Who"? I asked confused as to who else i know that would want to come and see me.

"A special boy" candice said winking at me.

"Boy"? I asked and then before i could ask anything else my hospital room door opened revealing
