Not a complete screw up

Dad?

Today i got dressed super early so i could do some research on someone for malik and once i did i tried to get malik up but its been hard.

"What" malik said tiredly while trying to open his eyes.

"Get ready" i said shaking him.

"Why"

"I'm taking you somewhere today"

"Where" malik said sitting up in his bed.

"Get ready and you can see"

"Fine" malik said as he got out the bed and went to the bathroom.

After malik got ready i started driving to the place i was taking malik to until finally i pulled up at the place.

"Why are we at the detroit prison?" Malik said looking at the prison confused.

"To see someone" i told malik smiling.

"Who"?

"Can you get out" i told malik that because I don't want him to know who were gonna come see because thats a surprise.

"Ok but it better be a good surprise" malik said as we both got out and when we got inside the prison place i had told the guard who we were their to go see and the guard who name on his shirt said tonny showed us the person we were their to see and the man we were their to see was sitting in a chair and he looked exactly like malik.

"What dad"? Malik asked surprised or confused maybe it was both.

"Hey son" the man in the chair who is maliks dad said.

"Shana why"? Malik said turning around to face me and i just looked away and before it got too awkward maliks dad broke the silence.

"Hi my name is cameron willams and you must be my boys girl" maliks dad said smiling.

"I wouldn't say that but my name is shana" i told maliks dad while shaking my head at his comment on mebeing maliks girl i mean im nobodys girl at the moment but i might still be darrens girl wait no what ami saying me and darren are no more i just need to remember that.

"Nice to meet you and malik do you mind sitting down" maliks dad asked malik pointing to the empty seat in front of him.

"No" malik said stilll standing up.

"Malik just let him explain" i tried to convince malik but he just shook his head.

"No"

"Please" maliks dad begged him.

"Hurry" malik said before he finally sat acrosss from his dad.

"I'll leave you to alone then" I said before i left them alone and i heard maliks dad cameron say "thank you" and thats when i knew it was the right thing.

Ok so before i had left malik he didn't seem to happy with me and i thought it would be nice for him to see his dad but the way malik acted i don't think he was on the same page as me and I've beeen sitting in the car for thirty minutes and i think i was wrong because malik came out smiling i think he liked seeing his father and finally malik got in the car.

"How was it" i asked malik and out of nowhere he just turned around and kissed me and he pulled away.

"It went good we talked about what happened and how he'll get out of jail soon and it wasn't his fault everything i knew was a lie" malik explained to me but i was just still stuck on the kiss we just had not to mention it was the best but i cant enjoy it because ive still got darren.

"You uh you just kissed me" i said reminding him.

"Uh yeah i guess i was just excited"

"Yeah right" i said rolling my eyes at malik.

"I don't care" malik said and then he kissed me again but this time i kissed him back but i cant do this to darren even though he did kiss others girls in front of me lots of times so i pulled away from malik and by the way he was smiling he probably thought i was catching my breath because what he said next gave me mixed emotions.

"I like you shana brown" malik said and when he did i dont know what i feel i mean i can't believe this is real because MALIK FRICKING WILLIAMS LIKE ME SHANA BROWN but its just one problem darrren.
