"Boy"? I asked and before I could ask anything else my hospital room door opened revealing malik i can't believe it was him.

"Shana are you ok"? Malik asked and i saw his worried face as he came over to me.

"Yeah I'm fine what about you?" I asked malik looking confused.

"What do you mean"? Malik asked me looking confused too.

"I mean why are you here" i asked him because I'm sure he has better things to do then come see me out off all people.

"To come see you because you weren't at school" malik said like it was the obvious answer when really I'm still shocked he's here.

"You noticed i wasn't in school"? I asked still confused.

"Y-yeah I--i wanted to take you to tim hortons again." Malik said stuttering nervously.

"I thought you were mad at me" i told him because of what happened last time at tim hortons.

"That was before i found out you were in the hospital and how did you get in here what happened"? Malik asked me looking worried again.

"Oh i can answer that it was da-----" candice was about to tell malik it was darren but i but her off and i forgot she was still in here anyway,

"No candice um malik i don't remember" i lied to malik.

"Why are you trying to protect him"? Candice asked which made malik looked confused to what we are taliking about.

"Protect who wait was it that boyfriend of yours? Malik asked me.

"No" i said while candice said yes.

"Yes it was" candice said looking at me telling me to shut up.

"Candice can you give me and malik some alone time." I asked candice so she won't tell malik anything else about darren.

"Urg fine" candice said before she left the room.

"So was it him"? Malik asked again.

"Yes, but he didn't mean to i was yelling at him" i said defending darren and i don't know why.

"So that doesn't give him the right to hit you" malik said balling up his fist to his sides.

"And why do you care so much about what he does to me anywa"? I asked malik.

"Because I care about the people i like" malik said but i don't think he meant it because she looked as shocked as i was when he said it.

"Wait you like me." I asked malik in shock.

"I said that"? Malik asked confused.

"Yeah just a minute ago you said----" i was about to finish my sentence but malik interrupted me.

"Ok i do but i don't want to see you like this hes not good for you" malik admitted.

"I know thats why i broke up with him or something like that" i told malik but i don't want him to knoe know i didn't really break up with darren and by the look on malik face i know hes gonna ask me about it.

"What do you mean something like that"? Malik asked confused.

"I told him we need sometime apart" i told malik looking away from his now angry face.

"So you basically told him yall together"? Malik asked emphasizing the yall part.

"No not like that" i told malik trying to calm him down.

"Well that'swhat hes gonna think wait ya know what i gotta go" malik said walking to the door.

"Please don't go i can take peole hating me but i can't take you hating me nor taliking to me" i told malikand lukily he turned back around facing me.

"I don't hate you i just don't get why you still wanna be with him" malik admitted.

"Its a long story" i told malik

"Canyou tell me"?malik asked.

"I never imagined opening up to someone in a hospital" i admitted to malik laughing and he laughed too.

"Well you can tell me at my house" malik suggested.

"Your house" i asked because I'm surprised he would want someone like me at his house.

"Yeah it's still morning so school just started so don't worry your parents won't freak out."malik told me and i wasn't worried about my parents freaking out i mean its not lkke they care enough to anyway.

"What about you parents"? I asked malik.

"Oh they are out for a couple of days" he told me.

"Your lucky and yeah ill come to your house." I told malik and i wish my parents will be out for the whole year.

"Alright I'll tell candice and we can go" malik told me as we left the hospital who cares that i had to wait a couple of hours to leave they not stopping me plus this is going over malik williams house i mean HELLO ITS MALIK WILLIAMS i am not missing this opportunity.
