The day has finally come — On Thin Ice is officially out in the world.
I started writing this story back in 2022, at a time when I just needed an escape — a way to focus my thoughts on something else and create my own little world. Back then, life felt a bit easier, and for a while, I put the story aside to just live.
It wasn't until 2024, when life started to feel heavier, that I found my way back to the universe of On Thin Ice. Writing became my routine — late nights, early mornings, and my favorite songs on repeat. I poured everything I had into this story.
I've been writing stories my whole life — most of them shared online, hoping someone might find comfort or inspiration in them. But I never imagined that something so personal, something written in my teenage bedroom, would actually end up here. Getting the chance to publish On Thin Ice made me realize it wasn't just "useless writing." It meant something — to me and hopefully to others too.
Music has always been a huge part of my life — it's how I feel, process, and heal. Artists like Taylor Swift, Maisie Peters, Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter (and so many more) have been the soundtrack to this journey. Their lyrics have shaped how I write — real, raw, and full of emotion.
That's what I wanted On Thin Ice to be. A story that feels real. A story that sneaks up on you quietly — like Livia and Liam do — and reminds you of life's small but powerful moments.
To everyone who's supported me, read my stories, encouraged me, or simply believed in me — thank you. From the bottom of my heart.
And to the artists whose music keeps me going — thank you for the words that make my world brighter.
