"Rosalie, can you hear me?" I can feel someone lightly nudging my arm, but I try and ignore it so I can sleep longer."Rose, please if you can hear me, please wake up." The voice pleads, but I can't find the energy to open my eyes. I try to turn my body, hoping to wake myself up, but it seems useless; until my eyes slowly open to be met with Daniel's, who is hovering above me.
"Oh my God, you're alive!" He shouts, as he dives in for a hug. I am taken back, but gently hug him back, before saying,
"What happened?" Danny suddenly turns pale, before he looks down, like he has done something wrong. My eyes scan the area looking for James, but he is nowhere to be found. I begin to freak out, thinking the worse.
"Where is my brother...?" I ask in a whisper, my voice barely audible. Daniel looks at me and then looks back down at the ground, before looking up and fixating his gaze with mine. His eyes begin to water and his face turns a shade of red.
"We all blacked out. I'm not really sure why, but I think it was because of some kind of toxic fog. I woke up from it first to find you laying here looking almost dead like. It wasn't till a few minutes later that I realized James was gone." Daniel wipes away a tear before saying, "I think the dark figure that took your mom also took your brother..." My mouth slightly parts, before tears began to stream down my cheeks.
"No. He can't be gone too!" I quickly start to look around frantically for my brother, even though the voice inside my head is telling me it's useless to even try. I begin to sob harder the longer I look for him. Danny tries to comfort me, but it does nothing. I am already shaken up about my mother being taken and now my brother too?
"Rosalie, I need you to stay calm. I know this is hard, but you have to stay calm, we will find them, I promise." Daniel tries to sooth me, but I give him this dirty look before saying, " You want me to 'stay calm'!? My family is being plucked away from me one by one! For all I know my father is dead too, so no, I'm not going stay calm!" I shout at him. I know none of this is his fault, but I need to let off some kind of steam. I'm not really for sure if I am pissed or upset, probably a bit of both.
"I know you're upset, but we need to not fight and focus on finding the safe house." I hesitantly agree with him, since I have no other choice. A huge part of me still wants to look for them, but a small part of me is think that they are at the safe house already.
"We have to find them." I mutter, grabbing onto Daniel's arm making sure to stay close together. We continue to walk for what seems like hours, which it probably is, but even after the sun goes down we still push forward knowing we must find the safe house or at least an exit.
We both look over the map again, trying to make sense of the lines drown to mark certain area in the woods, but it all looks so foreign.
"My feet are killing me and my dress is ruined." I say, after noticing my once pearly white dress is now covered in mud with rips and gashes scattered along the skirt.
"Your dress is the least of our worries, and for your feet, I will rub them when we get to the safe house." I smile up at Danny, knowing how great of a guy he really is.
"Let's stop and look at the map again." He says, but I roll my eyes knowing we just looked at it and got nowhere. We stand in the forest attempting to figure out where we are at. It seems my father's drawing skills aren't the best or we are just really bad at reading directions, either way it looks like we are screwed.
"I hate to say this, but I think we are lost." Daniel looks down in defeat, as he folds the map back up and places it back in his pocket.
"Your father would be so disappointed if he knew how much I have failed him in these last couple of days." I lean my head over on his shoulder. "It will be okay, we will find my family and get to the safe house in no time." Even though I am telling Danny this, I am also trying to convince myself, since I am doubting that we will ever make it out of these woods alive, let alone make it to the safe house with my family.
* * *
Hours later and we are still walking, trying to find this stupid safe house. I am to the point that I am ready to give up and call it quits. I don't even care if the dark figure tries to get me, I will probably throw myself at it if I see the damn thing. Daniel doesn't look to pleased either. He has this grimace look across his face that holds pure disgust with every step he takes further into the woods.
"If I don't eat anything soon, I believe I will pass out." I announce, hoping Danny will make food magically appear, but of course that is impossible since I did eat the last of the bread he had packed.
"Well, sorry princess, but we are all out of food so you will have to suck it up until we find this damn house." I can tell by the tone of his voice that he is ready to jump off the nearest cliff and at this point I might join him.
"At least you're not wearing heels," I say, raising my foot up, so he can see how much my feet have swelled in the last couple of days.
"Well, that is your own fault for wearing those, those death traps." He points a dirty finger at my shoes. I stick my nose up in the air before saying, "Well I'll have you know that these shoes were crafted by the best shoe maker in the kingdom."
"Oh, wow that's wonderful! Maybe if one of those creatures comes back, you can stab them with them." He laughs evilly. I can tell he is slowly losing it and so am I.
"I might just do that!" I yell back, facing him as I walk backwards. He laughs again saying, " I'll hold it down, while you stab the life out of it."
"Sounds like a plan," I laugh getting ready to open my mouth again, but before I can, I lose my balance and start to fall backwards. My arms flare out and my eyes go wide with panic.
"Rosalie!" Daniel leaps forward and tries to grab my hand, but he is a few seconds too late. I feel my back hit the ground, but my body doesn't stop there. I start to roll down what must be a large hill and Danny follows closely behind.
With every passing second my body feels like it will fall apart. Rocks and branches cut into my fair skin, as I continue to tumble down the hillside. I can feel my dress ripping into pieces and falling apart at the seams. It feels like hours before my body comes to a complete stop, but the danger doesn't end there.
I am face to face with a pair of dark boots. I carefully raise my head up to see who they belong to. My eyes fixate on a head of loose chestnut curls and forest green eyes. The man bends down to my level asking in a raspy accent,
"Who the hell are you?"

I know this chapter was a bit rushed, but I just couldn't wait any longer to add Harry into the story. I got bored writing without him so from here on out he will be in the story!
