It takes me several minutes to process what Mathias is saying before I begin to panic. The castle has been attacked multiple times, but I was never prepared for any of them, like most people weren't either, but at least when I was at the palace I had guards to protect me, I never had to defend myself.

"You need to find a weapon, and be ready to use it." Mathias, stands from his squatting position and walks around Harry's hut looking for only God knows what. I frantically look around and search for the sword I had used earlier with Harry.

"Who exactly are the Barbarics? I know you said they were hunters..." I've seen some strange things in these woods and I can only imagine them to be even worse than the Lost Souls.

"They're human, but deformed and mentally damaged." He tells me, looking underneath Harry's bed. He stands back up and says, "Many say they are people who dared to enter the woods and went crazy trying to find their way out." I have chills running down my back at just the thought, what do they have against Death Valley is what I want to ask, but I know I need to worry about finding something to protect myself from then wasting time asking questions.

"They sound terrible." I simply say, continuing my search for the sword. I'm not even entirely sure if Harry brought them back after our little lesson. I truly hope he did since I have just about zero knowledge in handling any other weapon.

"I must leave and find Harry. I will try my best to be back." Mathias suddenly says, walking towards the door. I begin to panic again. He can't leave me! I am defenseless, I have no way to protect myself if one of those things comes in here.

"You can't leave! I am a princess! I won't allow it." I stand my ground, keeping my head held high. He is crazy to think he can just leave me like that. What does he expect me to do? Just sit in a corner praying that no one comes in and murders me?

"I am sorry, Rosalie, but I can't leave him out there by himself. I am his second, so if anything happens to him then I will be his replacement." I can tell Mathias must do this because Harry is his leader, but I am still scared to be left alone.

"Well... Be safe." I say, watching as he nods and leaves the hut. As soon as the door shuts I shuffle around the room and hunt for any type of weapon. I frantically run around the small home, looking in every corner for some type of way to defend myself, preferable a sword. After failing to find one, I walk over to the makeshift kitchen in hopes of finding a knife.

"There's got to be one around here somewhere." I mumble to myself, opening up the cupboards. I pull every drawl open and I begin to give up before my eyes catch a glance at the kitchen table were a small knife lays near a loaf of bread. I run over to it, grasping the handle, saying to myself, "I guess this will have to do." I sneak back into the living area which is right across the room and pull back the rag of a curtain to see out the window.

My eyes focus on complete chaos. I watch as family's run, covering their children from the bloodbath that is happening right before their young eyes. I cover my mouth, muffling a scream after I watch a man get impaled by some sort of spear. I look down at my pitiful excuse of a weapon, clutching it tightly to my chest. I sink down the wall, letting the tears fall.

"Please help me." I begin to pray, folding my hands together in hopes of making it to morning. I can't help but predict my death after watching that man's life get snatched from him so easily by one of those monsters. I would try to hide, but there's nowhere to hide in a one room home.

"William, we made a deal, you were to never return after Violet." I suddenly hear Harry shout. I creep up to the window, watching as he swings his sword towards one of the Barbarics. The man he is battling quickly blocks him with his sword. Even though I despise Harry I still do not wish death upon him even though I have in the past, but this is different, these people are his enemy and if he loses then his people will as well.

"You have something I need, something that is mine!" The man clothed in black shouts. I try to see his face, but it's covered with some sort of mask. The man and his people look like something from a child's nightmare and they easily could be. I sink back down the wall, holding tightly onto my knife. Their shouting becomes difficult to understand before their voices get drowned out from the rest of the shouting.

Suddenly it becomes silent and I begin to thank the heavens, but I soon regret rejoicing so soon after hearing the creaking of the porch wooden boards. I hold my breath, grasping my weapon, preparing myself to use it. I push my body closer to the wall, hoping I can just disappear into thin air, but I know that is impossible.

I don't dare look in the direction of the foot steps that are nearing to my current hiding spot behind the curtains. I think the worse, knowing the man Harry was just battling is here, ready to slice my body in half with his sword. A tear slips down my cheek of the thought of never seeing Daniel again or any of my family at that.

"Rosalie, where are you?" I thank any and every God when I hear Harry's voice call out my name. I jump up from the floor, throwing myself at his body. I don't know what possessed me to hug this man, but all I know is that I needed someone to hold me.

"I've never been so happy to see you." I admit, pulling away after he didn't return the hug. He has a stern expression, he looks pissed.

"Where is Mathias? He is to be with you at all times when I am not around." He begins to shout, stomping around his home. This is what he is worried about? We could have died, I could have DIED, yet he is mad at Mathias for not babysitting me, shouldn't he be concerned about his wellbeing? What if he is seriously injured or dead even?

"He left to protect your sorry ass." I yell, holding up the kitchen knife I had forgot I still had. He turns around looking at me odd saying,

"Well he wasn't supposed to." He says with a little less irritation in his voice.

"We need to go find him, he could be hurt." I tell Harry, walking over to the door. He quickly grabs my arm, pulling me back into the home.

"You're not going anywhere with only a butter knife to defend yourself with." I look down at my 'weapon' thanking God that no actual threat came through that door because I think we both know I would be screwed.

"Well give me a sword then we will go." Mathias was my only real friend here and I can't bare to lose him too. I know Harry isn't as concerned as I am, but I can't understand why since Mathias is his second, he would take Harry's place if anything happened to him so you would think he would be more worried about his friend.

"You're not going anywhere." I cross my arms, about to protest, but I soon stop myself after noticing a large cut on Harry's chest. I can see blood seeping out of the wound.

"Harry, you're hurt." I outstretch my hand to examine the gash, but before I can he shoves my hand away and says,

"I'm fine." He starts to turn away from me, but before he can I grab his arm and insist for him to let me take a look at it. While I was living at the castle my mother thought it would be a smart idea to have the maids teach me basic first aid and I guess it's finally coming in handy.

"It's fine, I swear." He tries to convince me by saying it doesn't hurt, but I can see the pain clear as day on his face.

"Take your shirt off... Now, Harry."

I wish I could get Harry to take his shirt off for me AND THAT STUPID HAT SO I CAN SEE HIS NEW HAIRSTYLE

So, Rosalie hugged Harry! Whoo that's the most intimate they've been in this entire book xD lol.
