(Warning: this scenario (kind of?) includes spoilers as it has references to the manga beyond the first infinity castle movie)

Being sucked into a literal abyss was not on your player card at all that year, especially not with Muzan being somewhere around.

Your eyes flickered around the shifting tatami and shoji. It seemed like hundreds of demons were on every level.

You could count 15 just based on their aura alone.

Once you felt the ground getting closer, you twisted your body and unleashed a form. You landed on your side, but most of your fall was broken.

Your eyes flickered around the platform anxiously.

Everything just felt wrong, no matter where you looked.

You didn't just stand still.

As soon as you collected your thoughts, you began to move through the endless motions of wherever this is. It looked infinite.

At the end of a platform, you could see demon slayers. It was hard to make out who, but they could have just been regulars.

You went out on a limb and jumped off of the platform. Your sword was at the ready in case you couldn't land your fall.

As you were falling, you felt a queasy churn in your stomach the further you got until you landed once again on a platform.

You looked around wordlessly. It all felt wrong.

When you turned to try and see what you were feeling, you were met with Muzan.

Your blood ran cold as soon as his eyes snapped open. His hair was pure white and rested against his back.

Your body trembled involuntarily. Why was this just your luck to run into the big guy when there were no pillars around?

The moment felt like it lasted forever until he shot forward.

You went to scream, but you couldn't breathe once he got his hand around your throat.

"You're important to Tanjiro." He said simply. "I'll kill you in front of him and break his spirit. That dumb brat thinks he's got it all figured out.."

You winced as his grip tightened, squirming in an attempt to get away.

Muzan's expression shifted into disgust.

"You're like a bug. It's so annoying. I almost want to kill you now." He scowled. "But I won't. Nakime?"

He waited, seemingly for a response. Your head began to feel light.

"Nakime?" He called again sharply. He frowned, looking confused after a moment of silence.

Before you could pass out, the tatami shot up at an alarming speed. Muzan let go for a moment. You slammed down against the wood, gasping for air and immediately grabbing your sword.
