Felix just stared at his brother, trying to understand what he's trying to say.

“Hyung, you're telling me that you sent Jeogin to stay by my side in order to protect me?”. He asked failing to make sense of the whole thing.
“Yes lixie”. Min Ho affirmed with a slow nod.
“This is not making any sense at all. How can you make someone spend not less than ten years learning medical surgery, just so the person can protect me!”. Felix yelled feeling his voice rise.
“Calm down lix, it was his duty and responsibility. I didn't force him. He chose to sacrifice his own choices for you”. Lee Know sighed scrubbing his hand down his face, something Felix had done a while ago.
“What do you mean it was his duty and responsibility, hyung. How absurd is that?”. Felix felt terrible, so terrible.
He's very much aware that although Lee Know had said it was his choice. What other option could he have possibly had, especially if his job is on the line.
“How is it absurd? When he had nothing to loose and so much to gain”. The Velvet Mafia boss shrugged nonchalantly.
In his opinion, Felix is overreacting.
“So you're trying to tell me that these long five years of friendship was nothing but a business transaction between the two of you?”. Felix muttered feeling extremely exhausted.
Lee Know didn't know what to say to console his brother since that's exactly what his words implied.
“No Felix, I'm sure he considers you to be a true friend”. Min Ho said trying to get Felix to stop crying.
“What does it matter?,it won't change the fact that our meeting was a staged one. The foundation of our friendship was built on a business deal. He became friends with me not because he wants to but rather because he had to”. He sniffled doing nothing to stop the tears that's flowing like a broken dam, he thought he already ran out of them earlier, apparently not.
Lee Know stood up and crossed to the other side of the sofa. Squatting down, so that he can be eye level with Felix before pulling him into him in a tight hug.
“Bbokie, I'm sorry. I didn't think it will turn out like this. I only wanted to make sure you're safe, since I cannot be by your side”. The older Lee explained guilty.
Nothing hurts him more than seeing his brother in pain and the fact that he contributed to those tears is unbearable.
He had come between him and Han Jisung in the past, now he's undoubtedly making the same mistake.

After some time Felix calmed down.
He understood that his brother meant well, he only wanted him safe which might seem a bit ridiculous especially since Felix himself have a second degree black belt in taekwondo but then again if Hyunjin and the bullet holes on his body is any proof, then his taekwondo won't make any difference.
Though he wondered how exactly Jeogin will protect him but he didn't ask.

After his brother had sat down, he decided to bring up the second topic.
“Hyung, I want you to tell me about ‘Abaddon’”. He requested staring intently at his brother, to let him know that he's serious.
“I don't really know much about him except that he's a criminal”.
Felix scoffed at this “Okay. I think I’ll just have to ask cousin tae then. I'm sure he will know more than him being a criminal. I don't need your biased opinion”.
“Okay fine. I really don't know much about him, so I'll tell you exactly what Taemin had told me, though I'm sure his opinion will be biased too”. Lee Know conceded knowing how stubborn his younger brother can be.
“Are they enemies too”. Felix asked a little confused, Taemin had helped Hyunjin before.
“No, it's the opposite. They're good friends actually”. Min Ho stated not liking that fact at all.

“What else are you guys hiding from me”. Felix felt like his head can't take any more news and his heart can't handle anymore surprises.
“Do you still want to know about him or not?”. Lee Know muttered impatiently and Felix nodded vigorously to emphasise his seriousness.

“Well Abaddon, that is Hwang Hyunjin originally is an artist, that S.Coups brought from Australia when he was just nineteen years old. An orphan with only a sister as a relative. He encountered some difficulties,a lot of difficulties but that's all part of life experience. After some years he started doing well. His works got noticed. He started supplying to big companies and organizations. He added interior designing to it and was soon making lots of money. And with money comes connection as well. That was when he began searching for his parents with the connections he had and that was how he found out that his parents were  dead, murdered in cold blood”. Lee Know paused at this junction.
He drank out of the wine that had been brought to the VIP room a while ago.
Felix is already at his second glass.
His heart hurt for Hyunjin but he needs to know more.
“Felix-, you must stay calm with what I'm about to say, don't interrupt till I'm done. Please I beg of you”. Lee Know pleaded seeming very serious.
“Go ahead, hyung”. He encouraged his brother to proceed.
“Turns out his parents were the ones that killed our parents”. Felix gasped and Lee Know threw him a warning glare. And when he realised that his brother have nothing to say continued “They lived in Korea then. His family was poor largely due to their irresponsible father. His mother was an interior designer,a successful one but their father is a gambling addict. He lost whatever money he made from his average flower shop to gambling dens. And when the shop folded, he resorted to requesting loans from loan sharks using their mothers name. His requests were always granted because of his wife's reputation and character. And when the deadline for him to pay up arrives, he will direct them to his wife who ends up paying for the sake of her children and home. It went on like that for years. After he lost the flower shop, he didn't try doing anything else, just stayed at home for his wife to feed him and their children who were just kids then but he didn't stop gambling. He owed almost every gambling den and loan sharks, who despite seeing his inability to pay back still grants him loans.
And their payments?
Hyunjin's mother!
Every night they will come in groups and have her husband watch while they raped and assaulted her. The next day, he will go and request for another loan, only for it to be granted. He doesn't even need to sign the contract anymore, no paperwork involved.
They had unanimously agreed that the payment is his wife's honey pot.
And this was taking a toll on the woman, her work became affected by it. And soon she didn't have any savings left. She also started asking for loans from them too, just so that she will feed her children and always paid back with herself. At some point she couldn't anymore. She became sick. Collected a huge loan and used some of it to treat herself but she wasn't getting any better, so she had to go to the hospital which she has been avoiding cause of lack of money.
Lo and behold, she was diagnosed with Pelvic Cancer (Cancer of the pelvis. Could be mistaken for mild infection or irregular periods, so please always consult your doctor for any changes in your body).
Which means a lot of things, she can't pay back loans anymore, which means she can't collect them. And she also doesn't have money for treatment. It's a long process involving chemotherapies and dialysis. And her financial situation can't afford either.
Which was why when one of the loan sharks approached them with the irresistible offer, they couldn't refuse.
The offer promised them wealth, which in Hyunjin's mother's case, meant health as well. They could leave the country and go where no one knows them to start afresh.
But unbeknownst to them, it was all an act.
The perpetrators needed them to act as a cover for them. They will take the blame for the murder but they're not the ones to commit it. They didn't know who were involved because this very important piece of information was withheld from them.
They accepted the deal and signed the contract without fully reading and understanding it.
After it was done, the tragic result being the death of our parents. They received the promised share and ran out of the country, only to run to Australia of all places.
And if there's another country where the family influence fully extends to, it's Australia. It became easy to track them down.
On that particular day, they had gone with Hyunjin to visit the dentist after he forcibly lost his tooth while eating. It was after Christmas and the family was still in festive spirits. His sister Yeji had gone to stay with a relative for Christmas. While in Australia they had recovered all their lost glories and seemed to be a happy and peaceful family.
On their way home from the hospital, they encountered a fatal car accident that claimed the lives of both parents, as the only survivor little Hyunjin sustained serious head injuries which lead to Amnesia. And that was how he was taken to the orphanage.
Everything they had was claimed by the loan sharks as theirs. Which according to the law is not wrong. They hadn't paid back their loans after all. Paying with her body doesn't count since it's not in the terms of contract.
They were killed by someone great grandfather hired.
When Abaddon found out about all of this, he swore revenge. Great Grandfather was already late by then , so he went after the loan sharks and the mastermind behind our parents death, who happened to be Taemin’s father and that was a how they met”.
He concluded glancing at the display screen.
“Is that why you hate him?”. Felix asked feeling a bit overwhelmed with his emotions all over the place.
“I don't think I hate him, I just don't like him either”. He shrugged unapologetically.
“Are you going to try killing him. I mean you can report him to grandfather”. Felix inquired apprehensively, not knowing what he will do if it comes to that.
“Do you think grandfather doesn't know?, the old man knows everything even before we do. Besides Uncle Taesuk(Taemin’s father) is still very much alive and roaming the planet. So his revenge is not complete yet. And as they say ‘The enemy of my enemy is my friend’. We can join hands together to get revenge on Taemin’s father”. He revealed but his attention was already on the screen display and Felix turned around, curious as to what he's staring at. He spat out the darkish red liquid in his mouth.
The colour of blood
He noted.
“What’s Han doing here?”. He turned towards his brother in question.
“He’s not here, he's there”. Lee Know rolled his eyes.
“And what's he doing there?”. The younger questioned not knowing what to feel at this moment.
He hasn't seen this friend of his in ten years. He seems different, a lot different. He's no longer the ever anxious Han with anxiety ridden smile.
“What does he look like he's doing lixie, go and ask him, simple”. Lee Know uttered irritated.
“If it's bothering you so much, you can go and tell him, simple. Why take it out on me”. He pouted though a little amused.
He stared at the alluring figure of his ex bestie on the screen.
He was dancing on the almost naked figure of another alluring man. Though the man was obviously masked, it didn't hide the fact that he's a dangerous beauty.
Is that what's bothering his brother?.
“Don’t worry hyung, you're the most handsome”. He cheekily smiled before chuckling when his brother threw him a disgruntled glare.
Felix wasn't surprised when he saw his ex-bestie on a pole. Han had always confided in him about what he wants to do the most.
While he's always talking about being a doctor and whatnot. Jisung hadn't been interested in those stuffs. He thinks seven years is too long a time to spend in college.
Despite the fact that both his parents are doctors. His father a dentist and his mother a gynaecologist. He had just spent three years in college doing lyrics and melody.
But he had always said he wanted to know what it's like being on a pole with numerous eyes on him, it have always been his guilty pleasure. He hadn't questioned, nor had he judged him, instead he had encouraged him to go for it. 
And here he is, on a pole.
Felix sighed,
Talk about dreams come true
He wondered if he found it exhilarating as he thought.
Is that why his brother came here?.
