Hyunjin paced around anxiously, wondering why Felix isn't picking up or why he didn't return his calls.
He didn't remember doing anything that might have angered the younger. When he left yesterday morning Felix had kissed him goodbye.
So why then have the younger not returned his calls since yesterday.
His phone rang and he hurriedly picked up without glancing at the screen.

“Felix?”. He anxiously called out.
“This is really careless of you, Abaddon”. The voice on the other end said and Hyunjin felt chills run down his spine at the words.
Fuck...
“Who’s this?”. He asked in trepidation, feeling sweat break out at his back.
“Someone you should know”. The person muttered in suspense and Hyunjin could almost hear the BGM from those kdramas.
“Who?”. He still couldn't figure out who.
“Relax Hyunjin, it's me Yang Jeogin”. Hyunjin sighed in relief.
“Were you scared just now?”. Jeogin asked feeling smug for causing the almighty Abaddon anxiety.
“How did you get my number?”. Hyunjin asked instead of answering his question.
“Are you sure that's what you want to know?”. Jeogin sneered knowing that's definitely not what he wants to ask him.

“I don't know what you're talking about”. Hyunjin denied it calmly.
Jeogin muttered
“Coward”.
He paused before continuing
“Well, I guess I will just have to tell Felix what I know then”. He warned.
“Not like he will believe you”. Hyunjin said rather shakily.
“I don't know about that. And by the tone of your voice, I'm sure you don't too”. The resident doctor reasoned and Hyunjin panicked immediately
“What do you mean?”.
“Oh it's nothing. I could just show him a few pictures. The one with the mask and the one with the black suit but I'm sure he'll probably not believe me though, what do you say?”. Jeogin threatened with a smirk. Even though Hyunjin couldn't see him, he could imagine it. But the younger wasn't done yet “Or do you want to gamble on the other probability?”.

Hyunjin gulped before speaking again...
“How did you know?”. He closed his eyes tightly waiting for him to answer.
“Cause, I'm a Mafian Agent,lol”. Jeogin chuckled.
“Ma-Ma-Mafian Agent?”. Hyunjin stuttered in absolute disbelief.
“Yes Mafian Agent. I work directly for Lee Min Ho, the Velvet Serpents Mafia boss”. Jeogin explained.
“There’s only two Mafian Agents in Velvet Serpents. Velvet Dangca and Velvet FoxyIn while Obsidian Vipers have Obsidian Lyon and Obsidian Yibo. No one knows what they look like. They only know that they are of different ethnicity and ethereal in appearance. Different auras too. Only two girls and two boys. Only Seventeen’s The8 and Woozi can compete with them in gathering intelligence. The intelligence bureau won't even come close”. Hyunjin breathed out not believing what he's hearing.
“Those are exaggerated tales”. Jeogin mumbled feeling speechless.
“You’re under Velvet Serpents and you're a boy, which means you're VELVET FOXYIN. I can't quite believe I'm talking to a Mafian Agent”. The taller exclaimed.
“Aren’t you supposed to be a criminal, why are you fangirling?”. The younger sighed in exasperation.

“And why’re you telling me this?. I mean isn't the Mafian Agents supposed to be a secret undercover thing?”. Hyunjin asked him curious.
“It is a secret. Which is why no one knows of our existence. They've only heard the names but have never seen us. Some people are even convinced it's just a mirth”. The resident doctor calmly affirmed.
“So why are you telling me this?, do you trust me that much?”. Hyunjin emphasised because his identity is quite special and he's an enemy of Velvet Serpents.
“It’s not because I trust you. Rather, it's because I trust the Love you have for Felix and believe it or not, Velvet Serpent is meant to protect Felix and nothing else”. The resident doctor sighed then hating the news he's about to deliver to this lovesick boy.
He knows it's one that will break his heart but it needs to be done.

“No wonder. I've always known that if there's anyone who will find out who I am, it's going to be the Mafian Agents and I'm right”. Hyunjin tattled in awe of them.
“Well, Felix now knows too”. Jeogin revealed his voice lower now.
“That you're a Mafian Agent?”. Hyunjin asked in confusion.
“No!. He now knows that you're Abaddon”. Jeogin’s voice quivered.
Hyunjin felt his vision blur. He used every ounce of strength he could muster to hold the phone tightly to his ear.
“Wh-wha-t-what?, How?”. His voice trembled and he could feel his heart shake.
“I don't know what happened exactly, but I saw him staring at your pictures as Abaddon”. Jeogin muttered.
“He couldn't have recognised me right?, I mean I wear masks all the time, whenever I'm on a mission that is”. Hyunjin fumbled.
“Well, you were wearing the same mask the very day you ran into his car and don't forget, it's a customized mask. Not the type you can get anywhere”. Jeogin elaborated trying to bring him back to reality.
“But that is not enough to prove anything, I can still deny it”. He shook his head rapidly in denial, feeling his throat tighten and his eyes moisten signalling the incoming of the first wave of tears.
“You know it's no use, don't even try”. Jeogin sighed feeling heartbroken too.
“You’re pulling my legs right?. If this is a fucking prank, it's not funny Yang Jeogin, not at all”. Hyunjin yelled feeling dread drench him in cold sweat.
“And why would I do that?”.
“No!it can't be true!. You must be mistaken, it's just too soon, too soon Jeogin. I just asked him to be my boyfriend yesterday and this morning. I haven't even gotten his reply. I haven't even told him that I love him Jeogin, I haven't told him how I feel!”. Hyunjin screamed and the young resident felt sorry for him.
“I know it's hard Hyunjin but I think you will just have to move on. Even if you decide to come clean and explain yourself to Felix, it will not change anything. I'm not saying that he doesn't love you enough to look past your record. It's just... just that he's too morally upright to overlook something as serious as this. Also you have a bigger fish to fry now. You haven't figured out what to do about your impersonator. I think you should start from him first, whoever it is. Sort him out and then you can try explaining everything to Felix. It's not like all the murders you committed were just for fun. You had more than a legit reason for killing the people you did. It's just that someone took advantage of it to commit heinous crimes. Your first priority now is to pull yourself together and go hunting, don't stop unless you have your prey in your trap. If you need any help, I’ll do my best to render it. Don't forget to send him a message and let him know that you want to prove yourself worthy of his love, okay?, I believe you both will be fine. Your love is strong enough to weather any storm”.
