Present Time

I was silent in thought, Bae has a point, there's definitely a mole in our group but I will let them be for now. I'm not going to try fishing them out now, I want them to think I'm not aware.

"Any leads?". I asked changing the subject.

They all shook their heads, no!.

"What's going on with The Velvet Serpent and Obsidian Vipers?, any move" I asked instead trying not to dwell on the fact that someone's impersonating me.

"They're both surprisingly quiet". San noted and Seonghwa concurred.

"Well let's end this here, keep searching for the impersonator, also keep on the lookout, I feel like he's going to make a move soon". Hyunjin stood up after saying that.

"I need to go be with my sweetheart, I miss him".

"Look how sappy you have become". Ruby pointed out and the rest chuckled.

He dismissed them, pulled his mask back on and walked out of there, planning on going straight to Felix's instead.

Not wanting to think of anything negative, Hyunjin drove straight to Felix's. Only in his arms will he feel safe.

He detests betrayers the most and to think that he will have to experience it first hand. He had thought he had meticulously handpicked the most loyal subordinates but apparently not.

It will be a difficult decision for him but he's willing to wait while enjoying the bliss that only Felix could provide him.
He's going to enjoy tomorrow to the fullest, even the thought of betrayal will not prevent that.

It was already pretty late by the time I pulled up in front of Felix's.

I rang the bell and waited, soon enough I heard footsteps being dragged lazily against the floor. From the footsteps alone I can tell he's been sleeping. I felt instant guilt from having to wake him up, I didn't feel so excited anymore.

I turned back deciding to leave before he reaches the door, but a part of me didn't want to leave.

Is it strange that I already miss him so much, so damn much. It was so hard to concentrate during the meeting when the thoughts that occupied my head was that of Felix.

"Hyunjin?". His low voice called out hesitantly. I turned towards him, my breath caught in my throat at how breathtaking he looks right now with his hair sticking out in all directions. Oh my God he will catch a cold with the little clothing he have on.

"Felix, I'm sorry I shouldn't have woken you up. You can go back to bed I'll just be on my way". I forced myself to withdraw my eyes from him and turned fully away from the temptation in front of me.

'oh God how can any mortal be this beautiful after just waking up'. I dragged my hand through my hair in frustration.

"Hyunjin". Felix whispered wrapping his arms around my waist in a tight grip. "You don't have to feel guilty for waking me up, I don't mind. I'm quite happy to see you".

I wriggled around in his embrace till I'm facing him.

"Really?". I asked searching his eyes.

"Really". He responded.

I cupped his face, caressing his cheeks softly before covering his lips with mine.

I kissed him softly, it felt like coming home after a long journey, it felt like quenching an overdue thirst.

"Come in". He breathed after we parted from each other.

"Have you eaten?, I can fix you something". He remarked after closing the door and following behind me.

"Don't worry, I'll do it myself". Hyunjin dismissed him.

"No I will and that's the end of the discussion". Felix concluded.

Hyunjin pouted which made Felix squish his cheeks before placing a kiss on his lips. 

"Now be a good boy and sit quietly". He obeyed.

"On second thought, why don't you go and take a shower, while I put something together".
He obeyed the order without any objection.

After a very cold shower, he went down to the dining room feeling incredibly refreshed.

They both sat down and had a quiet dinner.

Felix sensed that Hyunjin seemed to have something weighing his mind, so he asked him "Jinnie what's up. You look stressed, want to talk about it?".

And without realizing Hyunjin started talking "What will you do if someone that is very close to you betrays you? Would you forgive them or not?, will you ever trust them again? And what if because of them you start doubting everyone around you?". He asked looking intently at the younger waiting for his response with batted breath.

Felix pondered on those words carefully, knowing very well that Hyunjin values his opinion greatly.

"First of all it depends on how close the person is to you. Confront them, let them know that their actions had hurt you and how much it had hurt you. Hear them out and find out the reason why they had done it,if it's excusable, forgive them but it'll be hard to trust them again, make sure they understood that. If they're willing to keep you close, they will do anything to earn back your trust. But if the reason they gave is inexcusable but you see that they're genuinely remorseful and regrets their actions, keep them at arms length and if they prove their self worthy of forgiveness, forgive them, if not, let them go. Everyone deserves a chance at forgiveness, everyone needs a second chance regardless but if they blow it, then let them go. It might hurt badly but you'll be glad you did. Also because of one person's action, you cannot punish everyone close to you. No one deserves that. No one deserves to be betrayed either". Felix spoke looking deeply into his eyes to make him realize that he understands where he is coming from and that he will never betray him.

He covered Hyunjin's hands with his own tiny ones, showing a silent and unwavering support that is soon to be tested by circumstances.

“Now, let's get you to bed, yeah?, think you're ready?”. Felix whispered softly and Hyunjin nodded.

Shit hit the roof last year and it gets worse every air I breathe but there's life, still.
I have a lot of plans for this book,that it's overwhelming sometimes.
But I'll definitely put them to work
